second call in a few months from this person called alex schriver. do not and will not answer unsolicited calls from caller id. the only calls that will be answered are from people i know. you can't trust anyone anymore and that is truly a sad affair. i really wonder why we have a phone as i make about three to six calls a month and the rest of incoming calls are fishers of men. about that close to taking my phone out and using snail mail. i would never ever give out information to anyone on the phone regardless of who they said they were or represented themselves to be.

Republican National Committee, I listened long enough to hear that the RNC was established in 17..and hung up.

Sorry to say, that the DoNotCall provisions exclude Political ads, at least that's what I'm told. I haven't confirmed this, otherwise; I would make a bigger stink about it. Especially since they are calling my Cell Phone, and I have to pay the minutes they suck up from my plan. I want an White-List on my cell phone of approved callers.

You can't nail them. The DNC list DOES NOT pertain to political or charity calls. This site can't and won't do anything either, it's just to find out who called you. They are not supposed to cal cell phones anyway, it's illegal. Putting your name on a cell phone DNC list in my opinion only lets them know who actually has a good working number and then they can add it to their list, but illegally.

Name shown in caller id is Alex Schriver. He does not leave a message. I have not tried to call. If you don't leave a message, I will not call back.

As always with these calls, I pickup the receiver and immediately hang up.  I do not even waste my time listening to what they have to say or the telephone ringing.  Sometimes if I happen to have my MP3 player going, I hold the mic up to the speakers and play music for them.

As an independent, I get calls from all political parties and dislike every single one of them.  I guess it has not dawned on these parties that contacting people who do not want to be contacted only angers them even more.

This number showed up on my caller ID with the name Alex Scriver.  Did not answer this call!!

Came in with "Alex Schriver as name. Sounds like one more to add to the call blocker. Slowly but surely the phone isn't ringing as much with crap numbers!!!  Digitron Call Blocker -- pricey but works well...nope I have no financial interest...google on call blockers or go to Amazon and you'll find a whole array...good luck.....doc

called came in, picked up on 2nd ring...and just hung up on me.

I keep getting this call.  The name on the caller ID is Alex Shriver.  Of course, I do not answer since I do not know them.

I ahve received calls from this number for several weeks.  The caller ID says "Alex Schriver", but when I - finally-answered they hung up.  Did not sound like an automated call.

It is a political message, and the name Alex Schriver appears on Caller ID.  I believe it is a Republican robo-call.

BTW - this is the si;;ly season until November 7th - politicalentities are exempted from "do not call list," same as charities.

We've received numerous calls from this phone number with no messages left on our recorder. Caller ID shows the name "ALEX SHRIVER" associated with this phone number.  We do not know anyone by this name in Virginia.

I got the same call from the same number from the RNC and there was a name in caller ID of Shriver Alex.   We called it back by automatically redialing and we got a recorded National College Republicans message.

ALEX SCHRIVER was the "ID" on this hang-up call.

Is this the best the Republicans can do? Illegal robo-calls with some moron's name attached to them?

Yeah, "politicians" are allowed to make nuisance calls and robo calls. So are bogus "charities." I'd like to make a rope out of that loophole and hang anyone who calls me and invades my privacy and wastes my time.

Interesting this crappy phone number has been used by various spammers for four years.

Republican Committee Collegiate something or other looking for donations so they can continue operating. Can't blame them really.  If they weren't calling looking for money someone else would be.  I don't miss the democrats calling though, although I had some fun  verbally sniping at their candidates and frustrating people dumb enough to believe in them and stupid enough to think they'll keep their promises and help our country, even more stupid they waste their time raising money for them, but I don't want the Reps calling either.  Thier timing really stinks.

I am not a [***], just an educated, reformed democrat that learned better, then I registered correctly, as a Proud, Card Carrying REPUBLICAN.

Strange, I've been thinking about doing the same thing myself.

Caller Id said "Alex Shriver".     It's not a "He".  A woman answered, asking for my husband with no explanation. For the record he's a Democrat. Doubt the Republican party would be calling him (for those of you who think it's the republicans phoning). Could be a survey call, or someone /and,or/ some unidentified company looking for donations. Either way........beware.

Wanna have a little fun to offset the annoyance factor?  Get yourself a genuine police whistle, and the next time he calls, try to catch it on the first or second ring.  Blow that whistle into the phone like someone was chasing you with a knife.  The next day, "Alex" will be looking for a new line of work.

I've also heard that air horns, like you see at football games, work even better for this purpose.
