Don't like these kinds of calls, The problem is so very easy that you will never here your phone ring unless it is someone you want to talk to. Get call ID and buy a Digitone Call Blocker. It's just that easy.

I just received a call from this number asking for some guy, I answered as "Attorney General's Office, how may I help you". She quickly apologized and hung up.

This little ray of sunshine called me at 8:01am today.  Asked for the owner by name although the pronunciation was absolutely butchered.  Caller ID just said Alex Schriver.

Got a call this morning from this number and they asked for someone else.
I said that the someone else wasn't working today to which the lady asked "Is this a place of business?.
I said yes (which it is), and she said she was sorry and would update their records, then hung up.
ID was Alex Schriver.

All the hoopl;a about no call list, suing, etc., etc. is wasted energy.  Political calls and charities are exempted from the no call list.  Caller ID is the key to survival.  Whenever you see numbers only, or a name you do not know, simply pickup the phone and immediately hang up.  That kills that and they pay for the call. :)

It is Northern Virginia, and it is Alex Schriver, and it is from the RNC.

We repeatedly get nuisance calls from this number and 'Alex Schriver'.  The caller(s) will hang up and never leave a message or provide identification.

If this is the Republican Committe why do they continue to call AFTER the elections? I just got another one from Alex Schriever of course I don't answer it but sometimes I might be busy and have to run to the phone thinking it might be important....I HATE ROBO CALLS! I think I will get a whistle and blow it in the phone.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but depending on the carrier and the account, the charge for connecting when they called you was somewhere between $0.00 and $0.0101 - in other words, all you accomplished was letting them know it was a valid working phone number.

So windmill chaser does this mean I don't get to feel good when I do what I did? Sorry mother, I will take out the garbage.

Phone rings,answer,and no one is there, hang up, several phone calls received from this number.

Keep in mind that many services especially VOIP based have stale caller ID information - it isn't necessarily the caller that is giving you some hidden name. The caller ID database is notoriously iffy.

That said, I believe this is a GOP organization... I have blocked them now. Giving to a political party seems to generate money for them to call and ask for more donations. Don't call me - I'll call you.

Received two calls from Alex today. I answered neither. I just called the number back, listened to the spiel and entered my number to be added to do not call list. If they call again, I'll let them know my money is going to pay for my tax increase next week! From then on, it will be just another blocked number.

I have received several calls and when I answer do not get any answer from the calling party.  Take me off this list.  I do not want to receive any calls that are for solicitation purposes.

Please do stop calling my phone number!

We do not have any money to give anyone!  AND, after the White House get finished with us we will have even less.  Take us of all of your calling lists.

Alex Schriver of the College Republicans appears not to want to improve his party's image with me given his repeated spamming of my phone number. I do not support Republicans, and have no interest in hearing more political fundraising. We just finished an election and I'm sick of this. Pissing me off is not a fundraising strategy.
