It's called NRA it stands for National Recovery Agency. A collection agency...

Never bring message. And calling to much. Stop that calls at soon possible.

It's telephone CID and canned messages and it's harrassment. What has become obvious is it's politically motivated to discredit and anger NRA members.

it appears to be as simple as choosing to have your number removed through the automated prompts at the end of the message. much easier than other solicitors I have had to deal with.

yes, it is the NRA, but no biggie. Not any worse than any other callers. Just have your number removed from their list. Someone, either friend or foe, probably added you by requesting information through a web page post. I had Rogaine information sent to my uncle this way, funny stuff!

Caller didn't leave message

I just received the call from 703 988-6367, my caller ID said "Urgent Alert".  The phone was disconnected on pick-up, which was within 2 rings.  On callback, the message said it was the National Rifle Association.  I didn't care that they called, just pissed that they disconnected the line.

I received a call from this number today, (703) 988-6387.  I was asked for by name, and when I said, "This is she," the call hung up.  I called back and got a message that it was the National Rifle Association.  I am a member, so I'm not worried now.  It was just disturbing to be asked for by name and then hung up on.  I did a reverse look up and found the number is from Centreville, VA where the NRA headquarters is located.

I this this resolves the issue on who this private caller is.

Urgent Alert listing---No answer

This number has been calling our home at all hours of the day and night!  Tonight it was 8:45pm and I gave the man on the phone an earful about calling at that hour and then hung up but not before hearing him laugh.  I thought there was a time regulation for unsolicited calls.

Received a call from this number and he caller id said URGENT ALERT, so I disconnected the call I was on to answer ( I was afraid that it may be an alert from our county) this call and it was the NRA! Wow! We are members, but hey have crossed the line with this deceiving caller id! I have contacted them directly and I had better not have another call like this!

They leave no message when calling.  Block the number.

Do not call again

The NRA solicits money (donations) from their members to continue to fund their mission of defending our 2nd Amendment rights. You're not a member of the NRA if you're not getting these calls.  ;)

I'm not a member of the NRA, and I still got a call from this number this evening. Couldn't understand clearly what the person was saying as he/she had a foreign accent. Was rather scary. I don't know most of what they were trying to convey.

Received a call Friday from this number and the Caller ID said Centreville, VA.  Since I personally do not know anyone in VA i left it go to voice mail with no result.  I then checked the number here.  Since i was curious whether it was the National Rifle Association of which I am a member or the National Recovery Agency when they called Saturday, I answered.  The man identified himself as working for a company hired by the National Rifle Association to get funds.  He wanted to sell me a membership of 5 years for $100 so that they could continue to fight Herr Nobama.  i told him I was good for seveal more years and was not interested.  So in my case since they admitted to calling on behalf of the National Rifle Association, then i guess it was them.
