calls and hangs up - stop it - remove me from your list

I am the Secretary with the Charlotte Fire Fighters Association.  We do two concerts a year to raise money to help with our organization as well as give back to the community.  At times the dialer may make a call and in the transition of transferring the call to an operator it gets disconnected for whatever reason.  If this happens please call the fireco office and let Tom the manager know.  He can check into what may have caused the hang up but it should not happen.  If you would like you name removed from the call list please call the ofice and let them know.  704-331-9075

Same as everyone else.  Calls all the time and when you answer they hang up

Caller calls and there is dead silence!

Calls regularly and hangs up.  It is most annoying.

If they were simply calling with prevention tips - Then leave a voicemail or refer to a web site.  It is a clearly a Dial for Dollars call that hangs-up if you dont answer in time

Continued calls.  No one answers.

I'm reporting you to the better business bureau

Do you have a on-line way of getting removed? I am on the national do not call list why did you not honor this?

just got a call..living here only 9 days..dont really get how they collect money if they hang up when we answer..go awaaay

Last night, the phone rang from this number and caller hung up as I answered the call excitedly to get the last ring.  If someone wants to talk to our family, then leave a message or apologize for disturbing us. I also think it is a good way to check if anyone is HOME (during these stressful times). People do funny things in the Winter around here. So lock upthe house and keep lights ON !

same thing happened to us, sound like a scam check with the operator to see what you can do

This number has called for a few days now and as soon as I answer the phone they hang up. I have called the number back and it's a fast busy signal. Do these people not have better things to do than call and hang up on people.

Just got the call today and I ask him what it was regrading and he gave me a damn attitude. Sayin' he wants to talk to head of household. If I wasn't nice I would cuss his ass out.

got call and as soon as I answered (with my company name since I work from home) called hung up. caller id only says charlotte, nc. tried to call back but wouldn't ring through.

Yeah, got the same thing. I picked up and no one was there. I called back and there is just air. It doesn't even ring. Shortly after I phoned my husband, I heard a difference in the phone and he heard me like I was talking into a can. Weird. I locked all doors thinking someone was checking if I was home. Im always home with a pistol. LOL

These typically end up being neglected autodialers or test dialers, either way - very annoying and irresponsible.
