- Bad things happen to good peopleIn the real estte business and you know my market crashed... I am 30 days past due and I have 1 year left to pay this car off in full...They keep pushing me I will send the car out of state, lock it at a friends and drive my second car until its paid in full. I already know if ts in my garage they cannot get it...Been through this before.. yea they can send the constable...he cant do anything either without my permission... court order is just another piece of paper..possesion IS the law... if you get behind, lock your car up in the garage and dont drive until you can get caught up...the repo man will come..but so what..its there job..the only way they can take your car is if you leave outside, on public property , or give it to them... they cannot take it out of your garage... been there done that...Yep..I'm former Repo!

- snoopsThis is a scam, if it was Chase, then they would not need your personal info, they would already have it!
NEVER give your SS# or Account info over the phone! They have been calling for a week, non stop. The guy that has been perpetrating this scam has been at this since 2006! When will law enforcement shut him down???- Caller: Chase Bank
- Auto loanYeah, it's Chase, they called me 6 times the day after my payment was due, can you say boycott, I had the money, went to the bank to pay it, they asked me for more contact information??? I said no, I left, I'm looking to change auto-financiers, I thought Wacovia was bad, they're nothing like Chase, I'm supposed to have a 5-10 grace period, lmao, I guess it was 5-10 minutes??? They are so massive now, they made their bucks by killing the little guy with APR, screw banks, they are the filth of the universe

- FDCPA TrainerChase Auto Finance. IMPORTANT:
These calls are generated by an Auto Dialer. Reps are taught to hang up on the 5th ring, or voicemail, whichever comes first. They can only have 2 'ANSWERED by a person' calls per day. If you don't answer, the Dialer keeps calling.
YES, it is harrassment, HOWEVER, FDCPA laws apply to Collection Agencies ONLY, and companies whose SOLE purpose of business is to collect a debt. Chase is a bank, and therefore, they do nothave to comply with the law. In fact they purposely break it.
They train their Collectors to be very aggressive, and when they get a Complaint filed through a Government Agency, that Collector gets fired immediately!
They have as little regard for their emloyees as they do their Customers going through rough times.- Caller: Chase Auto Finance

- RosieIt's Chase...chasing down their payment. I can't imagine all this work is profitable but perhaps it is. They can repo at any tme for any length of delinquency but it's not profitable for them to do that. But they will if you go over 30 days late. We keep our car garaged and I am paying on the 29th day each time...we are locked into a cycle that until my husband gets a job we won't be getting out of anytime soon. They should be thankful for all the late fees they are charging me. I just let the calls go to voicemail, delete the messages and call my contact a few days prior to making my payment so she knows it's on the way. Calls will NOT stop unless you are 100% current. It's life. I deal with it.

- JenI just got one myself, and I am LESS THAN 24 hours late!!! I'm with you on this Class Action thing if there's a case. I know I have a grace period so why do they start harassing so soon? Makes me want to wait til the last day before the fee just to waste their time and money.

- Ohio Chase Hater replies to RebeccaI agree... they are ridiculous and I even had one threaten me and when I told her that her actions were illegal and I was going to file a complaint she told me there was nothing I could do but clean out the vehicle. I cussed her out and told her to come get the parts from the mechanic.
- Anonym replies to Laurayep - look at your loan contract - they have a statement on the back, in the fine, light grey print, that they can consider the contract voided by you if at any time you are late.....not '30 days late', just 'late'. They reposessed mine when I was 18 days late. They said it was because nobody answered the phone when they called, and they assumed I was abandoning the agreement.
- chaz| 3 repliesPay your Chase Auto payment on time and they will leave you alone. Deadbeats
- Gary S.I just recently got a cell phone - I am a holdout - but boy do these bastar-s get your number quickly. I rarely answer - finding these numbers on the web to be scam or uncalled for persons. I owe no money to anyone so these folks (Chase) if legit have no right to call and how in the heck they got a new number from so soon is beyond me (unless for a prior owner of this number). When it costs you minutes to accept these calls (or voice messages) that is theft - pure and simple - not just harrasment.
As I said I don't usually answer any calls to long distance area codes I do not recognise but if I do then (you should repond in a similar way) I say - "Hello this is the FBI Fraud Investifgation Office - Agent X here - Can I help you"? That usually shuts them up.
But there should be a way to get these calls banned and folks arrested for repeated harrasment. Makes me wish I had never gotton a cell phone. Someone has to police this. I have a suggestion. As cell phones and computers have nearly killed the Post Office. They should be put in charge of policing the cell-phone airwaves. - Fed UPLet chase know that they are driving customers away by harrassing them often when only a day late on payments.

- LisaI am not a Chase customer nor have I ever been. I received over a hundred phone calls from Chase Auto Finance people at this number (and several others) looking for a guy named Morris. I finally called the Chase Auto Finance number located on the Chase website and managed to get into contact with an actual person (I pressed buttons for "third party," which was the only way I could reach a service rep without entering an account number).
I explained the situation to the rep and she transferred me to the Collections department (866-570-1452). Alex in Collections was quite friendly and apologetic. After confirming that I do not in fact know anyone by the name of Morris, he assured me that my phone number had been removed from the system. He also took my name to create a report to have on file. He assured me that my phone number has been removed.
If you are not a Chase customer but you are getting these calls, call the Collections department directly at 866-570-1452. They were very friendly to me.- Caller: Chase Auto Finance

- JJust got a call today from this number. I do not answer out of state numbers so I don't understand why they bother. I would prob answer an 800 number over this one. Anyway, this was the first call and they actually left an automated voicemail. Unfortunately I don't have a choice but to go through Chase for my auto loan as it's the company Subaru uses and who is going to turn down low interest deals for a higher interest loan from their local bank?
Anyway, give them a call and ask what your grace period is. Mine is 11 days and this was day 12 so the call was legit I guess. The lady on the other end reminded me that they don't report to the credit agency unless you are over 30 days and you get a grace period before being charged a late fee. However, in the contract, they can do anything they want and you may get a call before the grace period ends. Just be diligent and get those payments in to avoid this mess. Lucky for me the lady was pleasant on the phone and I got everything taken care of.- Caller: Chase Auto
