These guys are morons. I even took the time to look up the person they were trying to find and spoon-fed these inbreds the correct contact information so they could stop calling my cell and yet they still call me (just received a call 1 minute ago).

Contact the FTC. File a complaint. I have.  If enough complaints are filed they will be fined out of existence. But YOUR VOICE MUST BE HEARD!!!  FILE A COMPLAINT OR THESE FOOLS WILL KEEP BOTHERING US ALL !!!   (I am only speaking to legitimate complaints as in my case...if you actually owe money then you are a deadbeat and I'm not asking for your help anyway...it is the deadbeats that cause the rest of us these problems!!).

These people have all the wrong information and threatened my son in law and daughter telling they were going to take thier house away. Couldn't give me any correct information

Got a call from this number wanting info on a neighbour two houses down from me did not give them any info

Yes, Curtis O Barnes Law Office I'm sure they do alot of other collections but they collect for Wells Fargo for sure.

They called and asked me about a neighbor who no longer lives there and wanted info which I did not give them.They acted as a law office but I found out they are a debt collection agency

Received several calls from this number asking about someone that I don't know.

i just got a call from a law firm(curtis barnes in california) inquiring about someone named oscar ramirez or victor munoz and asked if I knew them. i said why am i associated to them if i dont know them. he said bc my lastname. i asked what was this regarding he said that if i didnt know them it wasnt irrelevant. i said NO its very relevant to me bc my name is associated to men i dont even know! i took the name of the law office and consulted with an attorney friend. he says it sounds shady or a PI looking to serve someone.

i meant he said if i dont know them then it would be Irrelevant, sorry.

I just got a call from this outfit and they left a message saying they were looking to"update contact information" on a neighbor of mine.  Obviously they search maps to find nearby people who can help them rat out  their neighbors.  Slimebags!   Well, the caller ID says they are a law office, so I guess that's redundant.

This is a scam they say that I am getting sued and asked alot of personal info. They said they are out of California and won't tell me where. They gave me a P.O Box for an address. They are slim balls, They freaked out when I wanted them to talk to my lawer.

Received message from Mr. Orozco at Law Firm of Curtis O Barnes wanting to verify address of my neighbor Ms. JB; to have her call or for me to call verifying the address he provided. He had our last name and their address and name ---- scary. Asked me to call 866-477-8222 x 2203.

First, HOW did they get my CELL phone number? And they knew my name and address? This was (supposedly) an attorney's office asking about my supposed neighbors and their lawsuit of some sort! Total invasion of privacy to call people's neighbors even if it was legit. I found this highly offensive!

Just got a call from this number. They called 2 times in a row and left the same message. Saying that they were a told to call by the attorneys and a neighbor said to call as well. They are very unprofessional because you can hear a conversation going on in the background. If they call you don't give any information. It sounds like a scam to me...

All I can say is wow! How do these people live with themselves? Sarah started off so nice and sweet and when I wouldn't give in to her charm she just went ballistic. Talk about harassment! ~A~

Not all people who can't pay their debt are DEADBEATS!.  Tragedies happen in life that are unexpected.

I got the same crap and I am not the person they are looking for I am a female and they are looking for a male that has the same last name I did thru previous marriage 20 yrs ago and since been remarried for 15yrs and I don't even knwo the person they are looking for. I am tired of getting charged for rude and anoying calls when they dont even pertain to myself. Its about time the goverment takes action against this kid of threats and harrasment to innocent peopel

These people phoned both my mother and my sister - very rude - C. Law - they even got my cell which is not in my name - will start logging call times as per Federal Trade Commission.

Received call @ 11:07 on 5/19/2011 from 714 224-5150 Law C Barnes(caller ID) telling me that they needed to get in touch with a neighbor on my block who I did not know, they told me this was a legal matter and needed to talk to this person. How they got my name and number is unknown but I told them I didn't know this person so don't call me.
