- common sense replies to MagnoliaIt is ILLEGAL for them to discuss relative's debt without formal consent from the debtor. Just that action alone gives you the right to legal recourse. File a lawsuit (see my above post) and bring the fight home to them.
- commonsense replies to john| 2 repliesBuy a digital recorder and record all conversations, if possible. Do NOT give them any information. Call your state department of commerce and file a complaint. These people are extortionists who use illegal tactics to collect debt they purchased for pennies on the dollar. They were stupid enough to leave threatening messages on my phone answering machine and now I am pursuing a lawsuit. Most lawyers work on a contigency basis and collect their fees directly from the agency if you win (aside from your settlement). Do NOT give them any information and do NOT send them any money. They never follow through on their threats and just use them to intimidate. It's time to bring the fight home to them. You are not alone in this, and it is a long time coming that these criminals are brought to justice. Make THEM pay. Good luck.
- commonsense replies to commonsense| 12 repliesby the way, here is their address I got off another post on another website. Since they refuse to send legal documents of collection, and try to have money sent electronically, they are hard to track down.

Let's make THEM pay for their illegal acts - CrazyDog replies to commonsenseCommonSense,
Please give us update on your lawsuit as I am dying to see this scumbag thrown in jail. I heard them being sued in the past and was fined big time, when they're still called Shekinah, but then they just shut down and setup a new company called Worldwide Recoveries :-)
Also, they're hard to track down because they're using Verizon cells and if all efforts are exhausted they will try to reach you from a different collection company called ACI (Automated Collection).
Good Luck !! - NOCOMMONSENSEREPLY replies to commonsense| 4 repliesIllegal is signing a contract for credit and using that credit to obatain cash or materials with any thought of paying it back.
The bad people are the ones who coleect bad debt.
Bad people are the thieves that obtain credit then never pay it back, then hide behind some laws to keep from being bothered about it.
You dont get that sooner or later in one way or another the debtor always pays.
As they say what comes around goes around. Thats a fact
So get a job and get a life and take care of your responsibilities.
You probably have kids out there, that count on you for help and you hide from them and what you owe them. DEid I hit it right? - CrazyDog replies to NOCOMMONSENSEREPLY| 1 replyAha... so that scumbag is here apparently :-)

- its the law replies to R J| 2 repliespay your bill, stop being a dead beat debtor
- its the law replies to CrazyDog| 1 replyCrazyDog, you're one to follow. Teaching others how to break the law. Using the statute of limitations does not negate the financial obligation. You're telling debtors (probably like yourself) to sign a contract, steal money and property, then wait until the stats run out so they don't have to pay for it. What a responsible adult you are. Do you teach this budgeting methods to your kids....
- It IS the law replies to its the lawThe statute of limitations exists to protect consumers from, among other things, unscrupulous and shoddy business practices. Without it there would be nothing to stop a creditor from letting a small account quietly lay fallow, accruing interest for decades, and when ripe, coming along to harvest everything the consumer owns.
Anyone that engages in a contract should know its limitations and FOLLOW THE LAW! It is incumbent upon the creditor to take whatever steps are necessary to legally collect on his accounts while they are with the SOL. When the original creditor decides to write off a bad debt and sell it to scavengers, it is their problem when it goes SOL. Don't be a debt buyer if you don't like THE LAW! - Michael replies to its the lawPay your bill? I have immaculate credit and this guy is telling me I owe him money. Are you stupid?

- FedUp replies to fed upOkay has anyone had an inquiry from this company on your credit report? I had one today and there is a company I owe but it says nothing about this one taking over or buying my debt from them and now he's saying my amount owed is jumping up 41%...how can they do that and why does the BBB send me to a random payday loan company website? If you look up their number on the BBB it takes you to some other company. Is someone just abusing his ability to look up credit reports???
