Like everyone else here, I got a call from National Income tonight around 7 p.m.  Same m/o...found my resume on Hotjobs...a "manager" position...etc. etc.  No legit company calls people at 7 p.m.  I figured it was a scam.  Thanks to all of you form confirming my instinct.

I just got call about ten minutes ago promising to put me into a manager's
position. Someone named Kendisha told me she saw my resume & I was just what her company was looking for. After seeing all of these comments I don't think I will be keeping my appointment either!!!

Do not get suckered in as I have. The SGA and RGA make money off the renewels that the new agents leave behind when they quit. Why do you think this company has a 90+ turn over rate. They are a recruiting company. They have to be contantly working in order to replenish all the people that leave on a consistant basis. They work you like a slave 12+ hours STRAIGHT commision 7 days a week. They get you to go in thinking your going to make big money. But its really the top dogs there who prey on the other ones. New agents is where they make most of there money from because the payout is higher. Regardless of being a cheap [***] company to work for, what pisses me off is I really feel sorry for the Union workers. They think that oh I filled this car out with free benefits and his agents just going to show it to me. All these agents go into a members house under false intentions. They want to go in there and basically walk out with a check. They are hard closers and dont' take no for an answer. Thats what the bosses want. If your doing bad oh wells tuff luck. This is a crooked company that preys on peoples fears.

Incredible how you also accuse people of being liars. Just looked up Torchmark and a subsidiary is American Income Life and if you look into American Life on the Torchmark website you can see that National Income Life is a subsidiary company of American Income Life. This is the name they use in NY. Solid company I dare you all to call Better Business Bureau.

I received a call from this number and the person said the call was regarding my sister "Jennifer" and my brother "Eduardo".  She said they were in the office with her.  I don't have ANY sisters and my brother is not named "Eduardo"  I hung up and they tried to call back a 2nd time.  When I call the above phone number to ask the nature of their business, I could never reach a live person.

I got the call about 8:30PM from Valentina who said she found my resume on CareerBuilder.  Her company was looking for people with management experience.  She said they work with Unions and there was no selling involved.  She tried to set me up for an interview tomorrow or the next day, although I told her I was currently employed.  She gave me the address, but I had to ask for the phone number.  I googled the address and then the phone number, andot to this page.  After reading all te posts, I will not be going on that interview.

I also received a call for an interview from National Income. They said they got my resume from monster or careerbuilder. The appt was set up. I asked for the location and info about the company to be emailed to me. I never received an email. So I decided to look  them up on the internet and this is what I've found. Very suspicious and disappointing. I would not want to work for a company with a shady reputation.

The call came in around 2:00 p.m. today.  I didn't recognize the number and listened to the message.  I am a teacher looking for a teaching position, quite specific.  Said they were from Milco and wanted to interview me for a full time position.  Strange since I am not qualified for this type of position and I post that I need a job within 8 miles from my home.  They are about an hour away or more.

A number of things. I've read a few posts saying that when you requesed info to be emailed you were advised email was down. No reputable company has email down for more than 1hr. Then I've been interviewing for the past two years and I was never told to wear suite and tie. Hello, It's an interview what else are you expected to wear. The person on the oher line did not sound professional. Also I was out of the country for awhile and they left like 10 msgs. I will not even waste my time going down there, I've been doing this for too long. I thank you guys for confirming what my gut already told me.

I received a call about a supervisory position, although I have no supervisory experience.  They claimed it isn't a commission job, though clearly from what you people are saying it is a commission job.  They were extremely evasive about what the job is and even where the job is located -- they told me it doesn't matter as I could work anyplace.  Doesn't that sound like a sales job?  They sounded totally deceitful, so I'm glad I researched them and found this website.

Thanks for saving me time... I received a call from the same number (718) 888-9428 on Monday saying that they received my resume and would like to meet with me to discuss a Manager position.  I was a bit confused because I didn't remember sending my resume to an insurance company, but I went against my instinct and set-up the interview.

As I was researching the company to better prepare for the interview, I came across this page... I tried calling the number but only received an automated machine.

Thanks so much for creating this page and I hope they don't waste any other people's time!!!

I received a call at 9 a.m. this morning and was asked to come for an interview. At first I was excited as I have been out of work for a year, but something was not right. When he didn't give me his name or the name of the person who I would be interviewing with I Googled the number and I came to this page. I am glad that I did. We should all listen to our gut.
