DON'T think for ONE MINUTE these organizations are NOT prosecuted successfully, as i do it for the USAF,, YES, i am an attorney, for the US Military, and i at least 3 times a quarter have to face off against telemarketers who have violated the laws and pestered US military personnel...SUCH a WASTE of my time.. we have better things to do with our limited hours than fight the people in the USA who SHOULD KNOW BETTER!

Why are you people making excuses and alibis for a bunch of stinking thieves at Graven Austin?  Here is their info:

Scream at them!  Another bunch of thieving, annoying callers, telemarketers, etc.  We don't have subscriptions to BHG or any of those other useless magazines.  They called me at 8:50 PM today, waking up the little ones.  I think what I am going to do is shut off the house (landline) phones after 8 PM.  True friends and relatives can call our cell phones.  The DNC and FTC are useless.  The situation with annoying, unwanted, unsolicited callers, telemarketers, surveys, fraudulent you have won a cruise, etc. is totally out of control.  We need to have our household peace restored, 7 days a week!  They even call on Sundays - it figures that these godless animals would not be on church.  Everyone, please write your Congressman and tell them in the strongest possible language that we want the Do Not Call laws rewritten with real teeth, prescribing severe dollar and prison penalties for violators.  We do not want any political, telemarketing, charity ir survey calls either.  As this is a major elections year, the closer we get to November 6th, the more we will get idiotic political calls with nonsensical messages, liars and fraudulent solicitations for campaign donations.  The money that goes into most of the supposed political committees will go into the pockets of the organizers.  PLEASE WRITE YOUR CONGRESSMAN.

Kept getting calls from this company.  Found an 800 number to call and requested that they cease calling us.  Hopefully it will work.

They call me 3 or 4 times a day.  Thank God for Caller ID.  I never answer but it is still very annoying.

I have a great system. Whenever I get a call from a solicitor, etc., I just add that number to contacts and name it "DNA." HAHAHAHA. Seriously, my phone speaks when I get a call "Call from DNA, Call from DNA" -- HAHAHA. I just let it ring and go to messages. They hang up. HAHAHA.

Thanks for the phone number to call on the "do not call list" I just called and I will be off their list in 72 hours. They were also calling me all the time. I did ask who they were and found out that they are selling magazines.

Translation: "It isn't against the law and we hate all of you so we will not stop calling you and bothering you without your permission!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

Apologies but, I am not subscribed to ANY publications or magazines and just started receiving phone calls.  Which does make it a violation of the DNC.

I have a few 'non-working' tel. numbers to give to people/companies that just need something for their data file and  so they should never call me.

I receive these calls form 719-219-3885 continually  . .  I am a senior and not in good health.  These calls are becoming dangerous for me as I try to answer the phone.  These calls must stop . . .

I receive 2 or 3 calls per day from Graven, Austin at 719-219-3885 and I want these calls to stop!  I have an answering machine and no one ever talks from this number.  They just constantly call and hang up when my machine answers.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number. I don't answer because I don't know who it is.

I cannot reach a live human at this company and they have ignored my requests on their recorded do not call line. FCC.gov has an online form that I have submitted to complain. I urge others harassed by this firm to do likewise.

Company is located in Colorado Springs and the president's name is James Graven. He probably has an unlisted number so calling him at home is unlikely. Too bad, so sad.

Perhaps if the access to the company parking lot were blocked that would do the trick.

This information is incorrect.  I have received calls from this organization and I have NO magazine subscriptions.  They are using an automatic dialer.  It's also highly unlikely that the rep will remove you from the mailing list as it would require them to do work for which they are not paid.  I get multiple calls every day from various groups and they should all be illegal.  Thank goodness for caller ID.

this person is calling me several times a day.  I am on a do not call list.  how is this happening?  I'm fed up with it

we had these people calling us relentlessly and would not accept  "NO"  and would not comply with our request to stop calling.  They were calling because my wife would not renew her subscription to "Womans Day" magazine.  Finally after many many calls from them,  I called the "Womans Day" customer service to complain.   The lady that I talked to said that Graven Austin  was an independent business and was soliciting on their own to get a 3rd party subscription.  She told me that they could buy cheap and sell at regular prices and still make considerable profit.   These peopel do not represent those magazines that they are calling about.  They are a 3rd party telemarketer.   And,  since they have not done business with you directly previously,  are probably in violation of the DNC and should be reported....

Calls constantly.  Never leaves a message.  It's very annoying.
