- Rose RWe have received 6 calls from this number in the last 2 days under the Caller ID MCCS (Macy's). We had been receiving calls from Mason, OH numbers 513-573-8038 & 513-754-9822. I called the former number and talked with someone with a very thick Indian accent. The person they said was connected to our number was no one we had ever heard of (we've had this number for over 3 years). After they were informed that we have NEVER had an account with Macy's OR Bloomingdales and we wanted the number deleted from their database, the calls from Mason, OH stopped (10/15/13). The calls from MCCS began 15 days later (10/30/13). We have actually been receiving calls from MCCS for quite a while but our call log only holds 20 numbers. These people are relentless. A lot of these posts say to "Pay up and they will stop calling you" quite apparently assuming that the only reason we are being harassed in this manner is because we owe something to these people. I should have said quite ignorantly assuming.... How can we owe something to someone we have never had an account with? These calls ARE bogus and they are harassment so please don't ignorantly assume.

- Rose RJust an addendum to the above. To assume Macy's has EVERYTHING to do with these calls would also be somewhat ignorant. As stated above, we have never had an account with Macy's and yet we are still receiving calls from these people who claim they are from Macy's . How would Macy's have our number if we have never had an account with them? I would think that Macy's would be doing their own investigation because this kind of harassment can not only lose them current customers but also future customers.

- annoyedBeen getting these calls for a couple of weeks. I do not and never have had a Macy's card or in fact any kind of department store card. I have one credit card with Capitol One with a small balance that is paid on time with autopay. I've had this phone number since summer '12 but the calls just started recently. If I answer, nobody is there, and they don't leave a message. So annoying! Any way to stop them?
- KrisHReceived two of these calls today. Both times it rang twice. These calls are coming in on a phone registered to the Fortune500 company I work for. When I call back, I receive a message that the call may be monitored for quality assurance and then the line gets disconnected.
- stephSomeone claiming to be Macy's or a debt agency for Macy's saying my bill is past due. I said I'd take care of it online rather than give them my info over the phone, seems hella suspicious. Macy's paper billing seems to be a mess... I got one bill in the mail two months ago and then never again. Of COURSE I'm going to forget to pay my bill. Sign up for emailed bills and auto pay. Never deal with these weirdys again.

- kwoodell replies to katrinaI don't and they just started calling 2 days ago!
- SharonWe got those calls from MCCS and also from Macys/Bloomies. We owe neither of them money and never answer the calls. They are easy to take care of - file a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry - https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. Works every time.

- JoeI recently got a call from this number from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be working for Macy's. At first I thought it was legit, but then she asked for my bank account and routing number. I figured it was a scam and hung up.
- L XThis appears to be from a 3rd-party or subsidiary collection co. for Macy's and other related stores, which is strange since my accts. are up to date. They call repeatedly, sometimes more than once a day, which is illegal in most states, and then hang up. They never leave a message. They must get paid both by the call and by the customer payment, if they're not just scamming/phishing. They have the ability to spoof phone numbers that appear to be from various states such as Ohio and Fla., to make you think their calls might be from somebody you know, while their calls are actually from the Philippines or somewhere else overseas. Do not pay them. They may charge you for paying through them--if they're even real. Block all their numbers that you research. Call Macy's directly or the store in question, and pay Macy's only directly in-person or online at Macys.com. Do not give these debt collectors or scammers any additional information about your account or yourself.

- Jessee replies to Romyof COURSE it is!! They are so stupid over there too! they do not listen, they just talk over you and IF you can even UNDERSTAND what they are saying, well you are lucky! i boycot any calls from India
- Onthetop| 1 replyI received several calls with no messages left from 727-556-5772 in Florida. Also received two calls from Ohio number 513-754-9874. Both of these numbers in the notes found at this site state that they are fraudulent numbers out of country or government spy #'s even. Being afraid that they might be correct I was careful what information I gave them both numbers were answered as being Bloomingdales / Macy's. I only gave each the number they called and my name. Both then gave me my correct balance and date of last payment. I was three days late on payment first time in over five years. These are correct #'s for the store billing department. Annoying but legal.
