- n/areceived multiple calls today from this number with a guy who could barely speak English claiming to want to confirm my address (which he already had)... sounded like a complete scam. Called the FBI afterwards and gave them their number. Was surprised to hear that the FBI was aware of this scam and this particular phone number # and was tapping/recording their lines (guess building case against them).
- Caller: Claimed to be Citimortgage
- inezI got a call from this number when I forgot to pay my home depot credit card that is managed by citi.

- naThe first time they called, they said they were trying to authorize a charge on my card. I called them back and they wanted my logon id. A few days later they called and said they had suspended my credit card because of a wrong social security card. I called Citi and they said that they do not have any record of these calls and my card has not been suspended. It is some sort of a scam.
- Caller: Says it is Citibank
- thedudeSomebody called from Citi, who wanted to verify something, they could hardly speak english. I could only understand 1 out of 10 words she said.

- kbGot one on my cell too late. The voicecall picked up before I could get to it. No message was left. I called back, it rang eight times before I hung up. I did a reverse Google lookup and this page was my first result.
I would check with the FTC and the Better Business Bureau. - TyI got a call today from "citi bank student loan division" asking me to confirm my permanet address... The guy knows where I live now and wanted to know my address in Maine....Does anyone know what happens if you do give them your address ?

- MELLIEI just got a call from this number and I don't know how they got my number because I never banked with Citi. I don't pick up unknown callers!
- jReceived two calls in a row on my cell phone, I couldn't answer, but they didn't leave a message. Per the above comments, I shouldn't be getting any calls from anyone. Have not opened anything new and I'm not late on anything. And I don't have any business with citimtg. The last time I had this happen, I turned the number into the FTC and that seemed to stop the calls. Also I am on the do not call list and should not be getting any calls. Called number back and it just rings and rings.
- TTI just received my 2nd call from this number a few minutes ago. I accidently hung up before I could answer. I work for CitiMortgage... So If they are calling to see something in refrance to my account, I will get more detail of what they want and what it's reguarding.. I should know of the process working for them... I will find out if it's a scam or legit if they call again and I can answer. Sorry Don't know yet!
- TTI have a CitiMortgage Fraud Hotline if you would like to call to confirm legit... 800-568-8207
- TTI checked with the fraud department with Citimortgage and they stated "This is a legitimate Citigroup line, but unsure about what solicitation they may be handling."

- SandyI just got this ph so why are these weird #'s calling. The only way I can think of that they may have gotten my # is through a modeling website. I don't give my # to everyone just people that appear real and have been on the site for a long time with lots of friends and real experience and comments from people. (model mayhem). I give my # to a carefully selected few. But I will say this... Since I added my ph # to my twitter acct I've been getting weird calls. And that was just this week! Hmmm... could twitter have been selling my ph # to these companies? hmm...Not Twitter, right? Makes me really think....

- BlogReaderSimple issue - Individuals calling from Citi-financial regarding mortgages. They have a dial out only from 740.368.0299. If you call it back and are unfortunately able to get through, they inquire about your inquiry... they put you on hold and punch you into the next available teller. Typically regarding a mortgage payment that has not been received on the specified date; Even if the late date is 13 or so days later, they will call you each day until you pay it from 0-16 times a day. And when I say they, I mean any operator whose screen your information pops up on.
**As a side note they get paid for each payment they get people to make over the phone, so they are pushy. And even if you mail a payment, you will be bothered until it is received and put into their system.
Don't bother making automatic payments for your mortgage with them, because it will cost extra each month.. If I remember right at least $12 dollars, could be more or less.
Oh.. and the supposed reason they don't leave a message is due to data privacy concerns, despite they have your number registered to the account, they are unable to leave you a message about your late payment.
Does it sound like I have dealt with them before? Well I have. Long story short, if you are at all late on a payment expect these calls until your make your payment. If you can live with it, great, if not well contact Citi-mortgage directly and pay the extra money to have it automatically withdrawn on a later date then the due date... I would rather deal with the calls then loose ~12 bucks a month.- Caller: CitiMortgage
