- Hate these calls740-368-0299 calls come to my cell phone, when I call back busy.
Someone needs to report it. - RebeccaReceived two calls, one after another, I was not able to answer. The second one went to voicemail, I heard some static-sounding white noise, and they hung up after about 2 seconds.
- YTI received a called today to my work and cell and said that he is calling from CitiBank regarding about my credit card. And said this call is monitor or recorded. I asekd him who is he? And a guy spoke not great on English saying that he is calling for my credit card. I told him wrong number. And he said he would like to verify my mailing address. I told him I am not comfortable to give out my information and I hung up. Anyone know is that a scam? I am so worry, not sure where they get my work phone and home phone. Please kindly advise if you are experiened before. Thanks a lot

- YT replies to sevkIt happened to me today too. They called to my cell and work phone. Claim that he is calling from Citibank about my Macy's card. Anything happened to you after that? I am so worry.
- e a presleythey called my cel 3 times in a row. never picked up when I answered, just clicked off.
I do have a sh*ttybank credit card. - JohnI received a call from (740) 368-0299 myself to my work number, and they left a brief, mostly inaudible message to call back. I could not make out the whole message, but it did not seem like they left a company name. I can not imagine that I gave anyone my work number that was not a client--I typically do not. If this was Citibank, I do have credit cards with them (none in default, mind you), but I would certainly doubt that I would have given a work number to them, either. If this is regarding a mortgage, I do not have one!

- JohnI received a call from (949) 413-0107 on my cell phone, which went to voice mail. The message left was obviously an automated operator waiting for someone to make a response--it was advising that "Interest rates is a stimulus to help the economy. In order to lower your credit card rates you need to respond immediately before eligibility expires. Consider this your final notice." Then it prompts you to hit "1" to speak to someone.
I believe I have had this call at my home phone a few time, also, as I recognized the message left. I know for sure that I NEVER provide my cell phone number to anyone who is not family or a friend--and even that is pretty limited! There is no way that I would have provided my cell phone number to a business as "OK" to call me. I have register both numbers at the "do not call" lists previously.- Caller: Did not identify themselves
- RossmanI got a call from this number yesterday...
He was an Indian guy who kept saying he had inportnant info regarding my Macys account and that I just needed to confirm some details about my account before he could tell me what the update was...
As soon as I asked him what this was really regarding the guy just hung up on me.... It was almost like somebody else hung the phone up as he was in mid sentence when it clicked off.
Really strange.. I think its a scam for sure..- Caller: Unknown

- cautiousJust received a call from this number. The gentleman asked for me and then said he needed information to verify my account. Asked for phone numbers, home address, email. Then I questions to WHY is Macy's and citibank together? I'm a Macy's holder but not citibank. Current with Macy's account. As an ex-employee of Macy's I knew this wrong incorrect. He said he had to transfer me to a specialist to talk to me. The transfer would take 2 mins. I got upset and said I will not give out information and knew that they called me and everything is accesible on the computer. Said it was a new policy. SCAMMERS>>>>

- annoyedGot a call from this number at work. They said they were calling from Citibank about my Macy's account, that just didn't sound right. I began to question the person and they wouldn't give me answers so they just hanged up. Called back the number on the caller id and it just rang.
- TONYI am fed up with all this invasion of my privacy............if I don't recognize the phone number I simply do not answer..............once I have more information on the name of the persons calling I report them on the Do Not Call Number.
Our government should put a stop to this invasion......... - AnnoyedI do not have a citibank account, I do not have a Macy's account.
What legitimate bank calls people to verify their account information at 7:30 pm on a SUNDAY night - AND who can not speak proper English?
This is NOT Citibank or Macy's - it is a phishing scam for you to divulge your information and they runaway and steal your identity.
FRAUDSTER SCAM ARTISTS - BEWARE- Caller: Unknown to me

- poderollerIf you live in Arizona, call 602-255-4421 they handle complaints on collection calls that won't stop. If you don't live in AZ, call your attorney general of your state for help. It is against the law for a second call to come in after you tell them to stop. Make sure you get their company name when you tell them to stop calling. You can make $$$ on each call they make after you tell them.
