Yes it is Citimortgage.  I called them back and they told me that the calls are controlled by a computer.  If you are going through any transition with your mortgage the computer throws up your number to be called, regardless of the fact that you might have  everything under control.

I don't have any mortgage but got a call from this number.

This number called three times in a row. They did not leave a message on my answering machine. I tried to call the number back and did not get a response. This is crazy!

A guy called, asked last 4 digits of my social security number, and wanted my permission to send the money overseas, which they had held onto for want of some documents. I guess, this is not scam, but the folks working for this company has difficulty speaking english

These people are calling my work and cell phones. They say they are some online pharmacy- although it's so difficult to understand what they are jibbering, they might have said something totally different. Regardless, it's obvious they have stolen information and are trying to get more. Too bad they are too foreign and too illiterate of the English language to get anything out of any of us-- Idiots

I got a call from 740-368-0299 at my private faculty office number claiming to be from Citi asking to verify someone else's employment, whom I do not know, at my school, the caller claimed they got my direct office line by googling the university's name, not a likely scenario IMHO given we have 34000 students and  staff here, and i am a teacher, not an employment officer. Her voice was barely audible and she sounded like she was on a cell phone in a tunnel.

They called my cell phone. I don't pick up numbers I don't know. They did not leave a message. I spoke with my mom a little while after they called me and she said that I received a call at her home from someone asking for me. I never have given out my parents phone number and the name they used was my internet alias. I have no dealings with mortgage companies. I don't own any land. This is total phishing and I wonder if it has to do with being a facebook user? I started a facebook page 3 months ago and the applications and advertising used access the information I enter into my profile. My profile has city and state I live in.

I have had companies look up past info when they can't contact me. They've gone so far as to call my grandmother's house. She's 89 years old and I haven't lived with her for over 10 years.

I got a call a few minutes ago from this number. Didn't answer, no message.

They called and refused to leave a message on my Cave phone.

I have been getting random calls from this number for a while now. I let it ring for my voice mail to pick up, but they never leave one. Have tried calling back but its always a busy signal or it rings for eternity. Wish these scam artists would stop calling.....its called harrassment in our country

Said they were from Citimortgage.  Tried to "confirm" information.  Put me on hold to talk to a representative.  Never came back on.

Saw this # but didn't pick up..

Called today wanting to confirm my wife is the sister of XXX.  I did not confirm, and the man with a thick accent would not answer when I asked what this pertained to.  Our number is unlisted.

Got a phone call and I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  Called it back and it went to voice mail for an Indian person Rod Heat is the sound. Anyway I haven't had this number long and no bill collector just family has the number.  I did call AHMSI (American Home Mortgage Servicing once but told them it was a neighbors number since they have caller id and now I been getting calls from telemarkerteers etc every since.  I had one person call with old bank info.  So AHMSI is selling our info.

they left me a voice mail asking me to call another number, when I called the other number, it turned out to be a phone sex line.

this number is citibank, they just bought my home loan and were calling to tell me im under insured and tryed to sell me more ins. for 400 a year.

This number is from Citi Cards / Citi Mortgage. The person who called me told me about fraudulent charges that appeared on my card.

Got a call from them on my cell, 5/9/10, on a Sunday morning.  I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer.  They left no message.  After reading the posts here I think it must be phishing/a scam because I have no CitiBank accounts.  I'd never give out address/phone/login/password/account numbers to anyone who called me, but how do they pick our phone numbers?  Just random?  I'm also on the do not call registry, but how can you file a complaint if  you can't identify the company/if it's a scam, if they don't leave a message?
