They called me today at 10am.

Why are these blatant criminals not in prison?

They break every law in the book. They must be paying off their state attorney general not to prosecute them - the Feds need to raid this bolier room scam operation, and quickly shut it down, and put the owner and complicit employees behind bars!

I was contacted by this company to attempt to collect a debt that is over 10 years old, i.e. statute of limitations has expired on this debt.  When I cited the FDCPA<Fair Debt Collections Practices Act> the collector wasn't even aware of the statue, nor that that after being informed that he's not to call, that he would be in violation and his company could be fined $15,000.00 per the FDCPA.
I would suggest that anyone that is contacted by this company review the FDCPA for your protection from their illegal tactics to collect retail debts.

I do not know why this number is calling me.  They call several times a day.  I have perfect credit so I know I do not have any bad debt.  Yet when I pick up the phone to tell them to not call there is no one there.   I really wish they would stop calling.

Now they are trying to be friendly...  not gonna work....

They called me again, I again asked for verification that this is a valid debt. I told him I do not pay anyone who calls and demands money. They are moving to thee next step, whatever that means.

It means they are going to just keep calling, and/or pretend to call from a different agency with a "docket" or "warrant" number. Like that's going to scare anybody here! They should call it a crapolla number because that's all it is.

Obviously they call cuz they want money from you. Thats all. Next time someone calls I would probably threaten them somehow...any ideas???

1-757-961-3548 keeps calling my home. I will not answer this call because I don't think they left a message. They call just about every day. I am glad I found this website.  I will never answer them because their number shows up as unknown name.  What legitimate company will not disclose their business name.I don't have time to be bothered with companies like these.

I rec'd two calls from them today and in the past, the person who they are looking for has a completely different name from mine, so I don't understand why they think she lives here! Annoying, but thank God for caller ID.

These morons are getting nothing. There is something called called Statute of Limitations! They know they can do nothing more than call for the sole purpose of harassment. They will be getting a cease and desist letter, and that my friends will be the end of that :)

1-800-772-1413 is their direct 800  line. They are debt collectors for Credit Card Companies that have old write offs or charge offs, they get paid to take care of the debts. All you have to do is tell them "Do Not Call" and they per the above mentioned act have to enter the code DNC on their call list in the computer system.

They call and call day and night, day after day after day. I never answered. They never leave a MSG.

Yeah, I got this call a few times over the last week, they always hang up right away.

CBC - Rick asks for a gentleman who previously owned this no.  CBC ask to call him at 1-800-383-8013 regarding this person's debt.  Looked up gentleman who previously owned no. and service provider would not help, stated they recycle no. after 6 months before issuing no. to new resident.  I accidentally received a call from Chamber of Commerce (of city of residence) found that this gentleman continues to apply for new business licenses with false information.  Too bad I have to receive these calls from the bill collectors (Portfolio Debt) on his behalf.  I've asked CBC to remove my no. from their list but they continue to call for this person.  It's been 3 years of receiving harassing calls.

These bad dogs need to be spayed and neutered!

These slumbag PRA collectors have been calling my house for over a year even early morning and late night and Sundays. Spoke to someone a year ago and told them to take my number off their list. I was not past due in any of my bills. They have continued to call and I screen my calls. Keep getting phone calls from this number.  Hang up won't leave message, plus they call early, late and on weekends. So annoying.
