Missed call, no voice mail.

I just received a call from this number. It was a political candidate in my area. Sue Storm will certainly not be getting my vote!

This number with a recorded message states his name is Michael with Dish Network and they are working in our area. I have spoken to there rep and asked to be taken off there phone list to no avail they call 3 times a day. There sales rep hangs up when I tell them I'm on the do not call list. Someone help me get these guys....

I have been getting calls from this number for about a year now.  I get two different speils.  One is the Dish network, and the other is the credit card refinance.  The one for the credit card wants me to consolidate my cards to get a much lower interest rate.  I asked the gal if she had a list of my credit cards, and she stated that they have only two of our credit cards listed.  I told her she was flat out lying to me, because I do not own any credit cards at all, and they are NOT to call me again.  Well, that did not work.  I will just have to ignore the calls.  There is no one, there is nothing, that can be done about these calls.  We will just have to deal with them, and continue to blow a whistle in the phone when they call.  If any one know how to stop these calls - please advise.

I asked to be removed, and they said they removed me. I keep getting calls anyway. I just spoke to a representative and when i asked to be removed, he hung up on me. I am going to seek legal action if I get hung up on one more time.

I told them I didn't want to refinance because I lost my job due to the recession. They told me to "GET A JOB!" and hung up on me.

Starts with computer telling me to press 1 if I want to lower my credit card interest rate. They said one guy said, they could help me by reducing my interest on my credit cards,e.g. they could reduce my interest from say 25% to 13% thus helping me get my balance paid down. Initally, they said there would be no charge to me for them to help me. I wanted to know then how they would be paid, he went into a long explanation of the credit card company would pay them for their service the difference between the interest rates. He wanted to know how many cards I had and the interest and were any over the limit and did I pay my credit cards on time. To see "if I qualified". I answered all of his questions stupidly! Then he said well we can help you right now...get your numbers and we will put a charge on your card for $750 to get started calling your credit card companies and get these interest rates lowered!  You said there wouldn't be a charge....he denied it and said he had told me that at the beginning. I quickly ended the call. I am glad a I didn't give them my credit card numbers. I called Senator Carl Levin and our newspaper and he told me about keying in their phone numbers in google search, which brought me to this page. The State Police number I called, however, I am not sure about that being a real number either. I'm going to double check it on google when I get this written. I will fill out a report for the Michigan Attorney General as well and hopefully we can put these kids in jail! I asked them the name of their company, that I wanted to investigate this first. I talked with two different people. one guy said he was a qualifier( he said he was calling from Orlando, Florida) and the second guy said he was a manager, he said name of company was "First Freedom" ph# 1-Starts with computer telling me to press 1 if I want to lower my credit card interest rate 877-426-7135. I called it and they hung up before saying anything. My caller ID said: Sales Dept. 757-990-8981
Beware of these scammers .....and please report them and don't give them your credit card numbers....Lets put these jerks in prison for a long time!

Just call 611 if it's your cell phone and tell them to block that number from calling you. I called VZ wireless and they said "no problem, that number will never be able to call your cell number again,"

If that doesn't work then after your next call make sure it's the last in-bound call and dial *57 after you hang up on them, but don't forget to yell at them for lying and being deceptive first. This even works when they block their caller ID. 3 of these *57 reports and they will again never be able to call your number (unless they change their number)

I picked up my cellphone and it sounded like a recorded message.  I don't remember the exact words...basically something about sorry and having the wrong number and it disconnected.

I pressed 1, and someone came on the line.
"Are you calling about lowering your intrest rates?"
Voice was smooth, sounded like northeast US, African American male.
Definitely not western US, Southern US, minnesota, chicago, Texas accent.
May be a hint of carribean accent or west african.

I asked "Which company is Card Services? Citibank?"
He answered "We work with VISA"
I asked "which visa?"
And then the line hung up. I guess I asked too many questions.
This could just be an automated call to validate that there is a live person on the end of my phone and it's not a fax machine... they could be building a validated database on phone numbers.

757-990-8981 was displayed on my caller id.  The pre-recorded message said that this was my last opportunity to get low rates on my credit cards. I asked that my number and name be removed from their database and the gentleman on the other end insisted that they did not call me!  Get out!

Received a call from this number today at 2:50pm. The caller ID said "Sales Dept". I did not answer and the caller did not leave a message. I am on the DNC list.

I am from Oklahoma. I looked up KJRH channel 2 works for you and called their help line maybe a news station can get something done. Tired or credit card services calling me and hanging up when they find out I won't be scammed.

I have gotten these calls on several occasions

Called and said they could reduce my credit card interest and said I was in debt over 3000.00, which was not true.

That phone number is to report Identity theft at MBNA.
