Random call on my cell, didn't pick up. Don't need any random unwanted calls on my cell. Afraid to call these jerks back!

I answered a call from this number, and when I picked up the phone I heard this message:" My mistake. Sorry about that."

If you go on the website for the do not call list you can report them. As for suing I'm not sure how it works. I just sat at my computer and went through my caller ID and reported 6 companies last weekend. I haven't heard back from the government yet and I don't know that I will. It just made me feel better! I am so tired of all these companies thinking they can get away with it!

call from 757 990 8981 - likely telemarket

I have been getting calls for about 2 weeks now. I have always pressed 9 to have my number removed from call list, but they continue to call, so when I recieved a call from them just a few minutes ago I pressed option 1 to speak to someone and ask them to remove my number. As I began to ask the man on the other end of the line to remove my number he BURPED....yes, burped in my ear and hung up on me. I called the number back and got a recording that let me opt out. We will see if they call back again. If I do recieve another call from them I plan to contact the BBB about this.

I have had several of these calls in the last couple of weeks and it is quite annoying as some of them are real early in the morning. I have tried the *69 route and pressed "2" to be removed - but it was useless!

Call this number and complain ...daily if you have to because the company that issues this number HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR TOLL FREE calls.  1-888-757--6500 this is their wire line number and here is their wireless number .  I was given this number by the wireless section.  Also here is an ATT corporate number 908-221-4191 because the number comes up as Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems which is ATT now.

Long recorded message for Dish Network, with no opt-out option.  I pressed "1" to talk to a rep.  It rang a dozen times, then a recorded voice said "I'm sorry I can't do that".  I've received *many* calls from this number.

received a call on my cell phone on 10-27. I'm getting a little tired of receiving them. I wish they stop.

Very odd... I answered the phone and a *recording* said, "My mistake," and hung up.  It was definitely a recording.

Been using call screening on these and pretty sure I'm making them mad. The other day someone upped me to first name on the list at 8:00 am. they were also screened lol.

2nd call with pre-recording greeting about reporting hail damage in my actual county and surrounding counties in time for some deadline.

My cell phone hasn't rang all day and I just received 3 calls back to back, from 3 different numbers! The 1st one was (202)495-7148. Second was from (757)990-8981, then from an UNKNOWN number (per caller id on cell). My cell phone only gives the caller's number, not a name, but this can't just be irony!  All three callers had to have been from the same company - I received them all within 2 minutes!!! If I had to guess, I would presume it has something to do with John McCain's campaign. Those are the only non-local calls I've gotten in weeks...and they have called me alot.
Usually they leave a message, but on these 3 calls I just got I had my cell send a "busy tone" to them each time.  If it was them, they wouldn't have been able to leave a message because I did that.  Who knows?! lol

Guys I think this is a complete SCAM. I picked up and it was a computer, Im sorry I have the wrong number. This is ridiculous. Be

I've received repeated calls from 757 990-8981 wanting me to lower my interest rate on ? Who knows? Please make them STOP! I got the number by calling *69 but when I dialed the number an auto-voice told me the number did not accept calls.

I just got a call from 7579908981 as well.
It was an automated message about Congressmen John Tierny (sp)...guess what, you can go F** yourself already! I don't know who that guy is, nor do I care to vote for someone whos going to bombard me with rediculous calls!

Caller said my credit card interest rate was too high and was to expire soon.  Further stated I needed to reduce my credit card interest rate.
