I got five calls from this number and they didnt say anything, but I made fun of them and still didnt get a response, who is this???

Caller ID: Edwards, Brent 760-705-888; caller said she was informing me my Pc was causing problems on internet, go to  PC. I told her not to call back, after her second call; first time I told her it sounded like a scam and hung up.

This number called me and said they were from a radio station in Baltimore and I answered some quiz questions about music and I won 4 britney spears tickets. Much to my dismay it was all false. The person on the other end of the line did know my name however.

NOOOOO  It is a spam caller.  Once you answer and say anything, then your number is given out to a zillion spammers who will then pester you with other numbers.  Bell Canada cannot block this caller with call screen *60  Sux that I am paying for a call blocker that does not work.  Bell Canada's call screen also doesn't block their own Bell telemarketer calls.  Unless you phone customer loyalty and raise hell, which I did, to block Bell Canada telemarketers.  I have noticed, unfortunately, that telemarketer calls have increased since I did that!!  mmmmmm

Ontario Hydro doesn't exist anymore. They split into several smaller hydro companies years ago. I know this because I have a family member who worked for hydro for many years and went to one of the smaller companies when Ontario Hydro split. Whoever called you is probably a scammer

(323) 902-6016 is a Googe Voice number.  It should accept texts as well.

What works for me:
I bought a call blocking software program for my computer and a caller ID modem.  Now my computer blocks this and other numbers after the first ring.  It is wonderful to hear only one ring. You can add numbers or names and restore your sanity.  And, no I do not represent either of these products.

When I called the number the message I heard was for Flo GM and I  was given the option to leave a message

I just got a call from the number 760-705-8888 on my cell phone saying that I have won $100.00 off my next cell phone bill. They asked me to give my home number (which I told them they should have record of), and then they asked for my first and last name... I asked them how am I supposed to know that they are really calling my from my cell phone provider, and he hung up on me. lol.

On my situation, I had an emergency expense, so I went on line to ask for a loan. Big mistake!!! You fill out the application with your name address etc. That is how they get your name. As soon as I submitted my app. I received so many calls on my cell phone and on the cell phone that I am part time employed. Unbelievable, not to mention the emails. They were loan companies, I ask this loan company that had also called me, how can I avoid the calls. She told me just to tell them "I am no longer interested in the loan to take me off the list of calls." I did so on the next call which was the 760-705-8888, that m fer to me to s%^$ his d*^&, that was only the the frosting, I then responded with my personal french language. He kept at it, telling me more. It went on for one minute and 30 seconds. I did recorded 24 seconds of the conversation. I thought I would call the number back and report it to the company. Hell, when I returned the call dead end. Number is disconnected.,

I get a call from this number twice a week, If they call in the AM, they call again the same day. If I get a call in the PM, I get another call the next morning. It is always someone with an Indian accent offering me great long distance phone rates, and never the same person twice.  They used to tell me how I could get great rates to call my family in India. You see my last name, which is of European background, is a very common first name in India. I have told all telephone marketers that presuming I am Indian goes against Canadian law. So these presumptions eventually stopped, but not the phone calls. I have reported this phone number to phone busters and Bell Canada, but nothing was ever done to stop these calls. Even having my phone number on Canada's "do not call list" has been useless! I recently reported the problem to the CRTC. They are investigating the problem and should get back to me by mid June 2011. If they can not do anything about it I intend filing a formal complain with the RCMP.

I got a call from a friend that is visiting The Dominican Republic. Did not reconize the number so I did not answer. Him left a message so I know that it was him. He said that I could not reach him at that number and that he would be returning home on June 6.

this number called me regarding me about my power bill.....funny thing, i dont have one! SCAM! and they keep calling.

Caller is overseas and is tele spoofing the number and it is illegal in US to tele spoof therefore true identity is to hard unmask. However, if you can stay on the line and pretend to buy the product and get their info, you report them in the country they operate out of. Places like India, are very hard on blue color criminal and will lock them up because they depend on US companies.

they say it is for discounted natural gas delievery.

I Received A Phone Call From This Spammer, How Ever I Did Not Answer It.  As I Am For Certain That I Do Know Who ?? It Is.  He's Some One That Watches Child Porn And The Masterbation Of Little Boys, A Very Sick Person.  He Hides Behind Any One That He Can In Order To Do So, By Stealing There E-Mails And The Use Of Spy Ware.  This Kind Of Crap Needs To Stop, Why?? Even Have A Site That Can Do This.  Going Back To A Home Phone, And No More Cell Phones  To Easy For This Kind Of [***] To Happen.  Johnny So Stop.  As In Johnny Fingers.
