This person called saying they were from my corporate office and needed my cell phone number for a delivery code for my business. I refused to give them my number and suggested an email. When they said that wasn't okay I hung up.

My mom just recieved a call from this number...the guy was east indian, hard accent. He wanted her to log onto my computer and open a bunch of files so he could remove a trojan. his first question was do i bank online. apparently my computer is sending out tonnes of junk mail! however, i scan it daily for virus's etc. and its always been clean. anyways, mom refussed to do anything and said she dont get it (using computers that is) ... this guy was very persistant that she start opening up things on my computer and allowing him to 'remove' virus's. She told him no, an to call back (as she had no idea what soever if this is ligit or not... im thinking not after reading related posts!). It will be interesting to see if he does call back... quite frankly, my computer seems just fine - runs smoothly, alwyas says checks are good, and the only sites i use are google/facebook/hotmail... I would think its a scam 100% of the way!!!

somebody called to sell some energy saver and they were claiming they are connected to Hydro Quebec and even government, and even my husband said to call again that guy said thank you for ordering, I have no idea who are this people an how to protect myself from them.

This number called 37 fukin times when answered they hung up when told that if they called again we would press charges they reply with threats... Turn this service off or least make it so we can trace them...

Got a call from someone who was talking and asking about some very inappropriate things. and i mean REALLY inapropriate. google needs to make it so we can trace these. these people r sick and need to be arrested

John, thanks for taking the time to share all of that. You are a nice person. I just got that call on my business phone and am just going to hope that they don't call again, but If they do, then I'll try your suggestions.

Caller said they were "Global Services". I explained that I don't take telemarketing calls and the call would be reported to the DNC after hanging up.

Unfortunately, it looks like this is yet another Google service designed to perpetrate fraud. I'm reporting the number regardless to the DNC and the FTC - if enough people do this then maybe Google will be held responsible.

I'm glad that the feds have filed antitrust charges against Google. Hopefully this scum of a corporation will be either cleaned up or broken up.

They are indeed scammers.  The same number has called me (usually with an Indian accent) to tell me that my computer needs fixing.  The callers are hackers who want to hijack your computer from afar (yes, this can be done).  They are using a computer to call you (probably from India).  They sometimes also use the "number" 123 456 7890.  That is Skype.  These new technologies make it possible to call long distance for free.  Sounds like a great idea, but it is makes life easy for criminals.  THe do not call list simply fails to work anymore.  Something needs to be done about this.

Some girl called me like 30 minutes ago....
