Read some of the post, very confused. My wife is undergoing chemotherapy, the copay is outrageous. Angela from this company called on Tuesday, and said they could help. Today, Thursday we received a call to inform us that we qualified. The person I talked to said she would call Angela back and my wifes doctor to inform them the meds are on the way and to get everything going. Only thing they ask for was to verify our address. They already had all the other information from the Cancer Center.

The call I got from this number was legit.  I filed a UHC insurance claim, dealt with UHC by chat, and the chat agent said she would call me back with an update.  This was her call, with a legit voice message.  She said, if questions, call UHC at the number on my membership card, which is proper procedure.

They called me and I do not have that insurance

That number called me today. I had never received a call from UHC from that number before so I asked him politely if I could call another UHC number I had to reach him. He told me that was fine. I called the Employer Customer Service Number and gave the lady his info and it is indeed UHC. They transferred me from their 800 number to him.

The phone I got from 763-274-3899 was from a Brovia Pharmacy.  Where i did have an account. But no longer do, they were calling to verify that. Hope this helps

bew...   this thread is in regards to 763-274-3899.  Your reference is to an 877 area code.  The 763 number, when called back now, identifies itself as the "UHC outbound only number" and instructs callers to call the number left in the voicemail or the number on the back of your UHC insurance card. Numerous other sites also have people marking this number as a fraud number. It seems that it is a legitimated number, but UHC has in the past clearly interacting with people in a bizarre enough way as to lead people to conclude that it it is fraud.

Happens to me all the time and they never have a message, reason for calling, or record of calling

Please give us a link to an UHC site that displays this phone number.
Otherwise, because of the number of posted complaints & disagreements, we can suspect you are shilling for the number.

Got call from this. U BER on my cell. They addressed my husband by name and asked for me. When I said hello, there was no one there and the line went dead.  So annoying. Who is this?

My elderly parents get these calls constantly. They mispronounce my mother's name, especially the idiots from the call center in Bangladesh. They demand information about her 'condition' and call with surveys and loads of demands for in home visits. I tell them "do not call ever again", since they claim the calls are being recorded. You can tell them off on Twitter, too.

They sell your member info to 'affiliates' and you unknowingly authorized it when you enrolled. The calls will never stop unless you send a cease & desist.

This is actually from Optum/Omeda Mail Order RX calling to clarify an order. They left voice mail with a different number to call back. Why, in this day and age, can't (?) companies have their name show in caller i.d.?? Such a waste of everyone's time, the back and forth . . . .

I think I should have made it more clear - It was a legitimate call regarding my existing order.

I just got a call from this number - legitimate - Optum Rx Mail Order calling to clarify my order. I didn't answer due to lack of caller i.d., but they left the main customer service number, which is in my phone contacts. From all the comments, looks like this number has also been used for other purposes. Can't companies have their name show in caller i.d. regardless of being in a contacts list? All the back and forth is such a waste of time!

They left me a message, said they were Optum RX which is the mail order pharmacy used by my employer's insurance.  I know I just requested a new refill prescription, I suspect it is about that, so I think this is a legitimate Call but I will be cautious!

I received a message and the call back number was for Briova Specialty Pharmacy (legit business reason).
