It is medco marketing. My son is on my insurance and they called and asked for  him. I told them I was the insured, that while undergoing chemotherapy they couldn't seem to get my prescription to me on time at $2,000 per shot, and there was no way I would ever use them again. The guy on the phone had the nerve to ask if my son wasn't man enough to make his own decisions regarding his prescriptions!

Just confirmed with Medco it's part of their company. They are trying to get people to switch to mail order to help save 'you' some money.
The 866-544-6987 is the number they left and it's their marketing office used to contact people to switch from local pharmacy to mail order.

Told them numerous times not to call do not want there services.  They continue to call.

I got the call, they did not leave a VM. I call back the number from my office and it belongs to MEDCO. My guess is they're trying to sell you on mail-in prescriptions.

This number keeps calling my cell phone and hanging up as soon as I answer.  Very annoying.

If you are receiving calls from Medco your insurance company or employer is using Medco to provide your prescription drug coverage and gave your phone number to Medco. They are calling to advise you on how reduce the cost of your maintenance drugs. If you are on long term medications they want you to switch to mail order because it will save you and Medco a fair amount amount money. They also advise you when a generic versions of the drugs you take have become available. I've told them that I'm not interested, but they still call now and then. The Do Not Call list does not apply to these calls because somewhere along the line your employer or your insurance provider has done business with Medco.  Medco's call centers use a terrible call system because 4 out of 5 times their system does not recognize that someone has answered the phone and just hangs up on you. On a few of their calls I could hear people in the background talking to other customers, but no one got on the line with me. Their calls are frustrating.

Just got a call from them on my cell phone. Normally I don't answer unknown area codes. They said they wanted to talk to my wife about drugs.  I told them they where a scam. They said they where not. I said have my main Ins. carrier call me.

i answered, then got forward as if i was calling some where else. I did not place a call. I received a call from them.

Medco is a Medicine pharmacy.  They DONT solicit people for business.  Some businesses use them for the prescription/medicine portion of health insurance they provide to employees.  They do3 month scripts, refills, etc.  if you move, etc and dont upgrade your account info online,  they call the number they have to verify the refill.  All the ask is the script number off the med being refilled.  Repeat back the number and will tell you what the medicine is and the number of shipping days.  They DO NOT ask for any personal informAtion.  They dont contact you unless youve signed up.  This would also apply if you signed up for auto refills.  Basicalky if you move etc you need to upgrade info cia computer.  If not thats how the wrong person gets the call in error.

Call is from Medco.  When  I called back in my innocence/ignorance they solicit personal info by stating it is to verify my account for my own security.  I believe it is to set up an account initially within whatever system this really is and I wised up in time not to provide any info whatsoever.  First time using this phone site - very satisfied!

I called the number back and it was medco.  They call sometimes even though I have them already to try to get me to do the mail in prescriptions instead of going to the store.

I am tired of seeing this number on my caller ID.  We have spoken to people from this number and told them we are happy with the way we have our prescriptions filled.  We do not want to change. Do not call us.  They continue to call.

I answered, just to see what it was, and a lady came on with a spiel about "ExpressScript" and something about Medco.  I asked the lady to take me off the list, as I had received this call and wasn't sure why.  She seemed confused.  I told her I had received  call but it had rung through to her phone line.  She apologized, thanked me for my time, and assured me she'd take care of getting me off the list.

Medco? calls me every day or two, but I don't answer it.

So annoyed.  Multiple calls a week and no one ever is there.  Finally blocked them through my cell provider -- Verizon.  Verizon will let you block up to 5 numbers for a 90 day period.  You can get to the block through the the Verizon website after you login to your account.
