- LW| 1 replyI keep receiving calls from this number. They never leave a message and hang up when I answer.
My insurance is connected to Medco. I went to Medco's website: http://www.medcohealth.com/medco/corporate/home.jsp - and I update the info they had for me...I changed my phone number to 772-335-4498 !!! That's what everyone who is getting calls from them needs to do: change your profile phone number to THEIR phone number!- Caller: Medco
- calIt's from Medco, and I order my inhalers and thyroid medicine from them. They are really cheap and you can order in bulk. I have health insurance and a prescription plan, but Medco is so much cheaper, everyone should check them out. Good holidays

- Garry replies to Rich| 1 replyI did tell them no thank you and they keep calling anyway.
- CT HuskyContinue to receive calls from Medco (772-335-4498) promoting their mail-order pharmacy services, even though I have nicely asked them to stop phoning me. They don't listen. I had previously used their company for medical prescriptions but Medco made a major error processing a large order and refused to investigate it (let alone correct it) for over 3 months. During this time, they held my other medical prescriptions "hostage" and refused to ship them to me. I eventually found it necessary to obtain new prescriptions from my physicians and gave them to a local pharmacy. When Medco finally determined they had been at fault, they didn't call to apologize and discuss their findings with me...I received a letter. Why then would they expect me to talk to their sales people now?

- what???Got a call, picked it up, heard it ring back to them so I knew right away a computer called me. Then a second later they picked up and it was a woman who I could hardly understand. I said "I have no idea what you just said, put someone on that speaks english". She then said clearly "I'll have someone else call you back".
I had no clue what this call was about since I didn't understand one word out of her mouth, but I do have United Healthcare, so I guess thats what it's regarding. - ebWhen I got to the office this a.m., I looked at the "Missed Calls" list that displays on my phone and I'd received a call from this number at 6:51 p.m. No message.
- Linda replies to Jen| 3 repliesI have been receiving these calls from the same number from Medco 1-772-335-4498 and when I go and pick up the phone no one is there and I have Medco and when I called them they knew nothing about this number or any call made to me. These are apparently bogus calls from Medco since my own Medco always uses a Toll Free number for any problem at all. These calls have become a big problem now especially since I am disabled and they keep hanging up on me.
- my3roachesThese idiots call about 4-6 times a day. I answer, wait for the human & ask them to PLEASE STOP CALLING. Next day...it starts all over again! So freaking irritating! :(

- barbara harrellI am constantly receiving calls from this phone number and I want it to STOP!
- Babs| 1 replyMedco is a provider of your health insurance company. They can save you hundreds of dollars a year in prescription drug co-pays. You are getting these calls because you are taking the same medication each month and paying each month. Medco sends you a 90 day supply from your doctors and one co-payment( I pay $30.00 for three months, 90 pills, rather than $20.00 per month for 30 pills. The savings add up if you are on multiple meds long-term. They will gladly tell you your savings.
- Chuck replies to mike mcgowan| 6 repliesIt's not Medco pushing you it's your employer, look at your benefits and I'll bet you are required to use mail order for maintenance prescriptions, such as blood pressure, diabetes..etc.
- Can't Escape Medco replies to Rich| 3 repliesYes, Medco, but telling them "no thanks" just doesn't work. For 3 years I've been asking them to take my name off the call list and not call back. They continue to call using different phone numbers. Each time they call using a different number, I save them under contacts as "medco nightmare" so I can recognize their number when they keep calling. I now have 7 to 10 such numbers on my cell phone for so-called Medco. I think they are independent contractors (phone solicitors) who may get a commission if they get you to sign up for the 3 month mail program. I'm not interested but that doesn't stop them. There should be a Federal program set up to turn in companies /phone numbers that HARASS people like this. They should be sanctioned.

^^ This.... ROFL!!
That is so funny!
This is a legit company wanting your business. If your insurance company gave them your number, (thanks, insert your insurance company here) then they are not in violation of FCC rules. That is why they keep calling back. However, once they have called and you decline and tell them to take your number off their call list they cannot call back or they would.... then.... be in violation. You can then use the numbers already posted to report.
The first call is to verify that your number is correct. This is just call-back screening software which is why many of you recieve no answer when picking up the first time.
When you do speak to someone do not give any personal information over the phone. Tell them that you do not wish to be contacted by phone and that you will call MEDCO yourself if you wish to take advantage of their program.
Caller: Medco wanting your business. - Nick replies to JenSome phones have a thing were you can use a fake number and call using that number. Its really annoying so you all aren't alone.
- PJB SacramentoI am receiving calls daily from this number - do want them to stop

- moThis number keeps calling and when I pick up, it is as if I am being transferred to someone. I was concerned that someone was trying to use my cell phone number to make a long-distance phone call, so I hung up. It is possible it is Medco as they have called me using a different number. And, yes, Medco is extremely annoying as they will call over and over again until you talk to them regarding your prescriptions. I think it borders on harrassment and its best to call your employer to complain. Calling United HealthCare won't do the trick (Medco is their company).
