Ok I'm just real confused.  Yes they called me - I orderd a packet for my son who is a senior.  However - When I look up     smartef.org    it looks lagit!  But it also has this contact number.  Boy am I confused...I called and they said I still have 30 days from receipt to return everything and get my money back.  Is this a scam...Do you believe I'll actually be receiving what I ordered? I can't believe this!!

I smell a scam.  The person on the phone (Kyle) said that the cost of the program is tax deductible.  I'm a CPA and can tell you for sure, if you are buying a product for personal use at its fair value, it is NOT a tax deductible contribution. He offered the program on a  30 day trial.  If I were you, I would not give any money or credit card info up-front.

I told him I was not interested and to remove me from their call list.

I will not say what I said at that point.

I got the same call at my house. The guy asked for so and so's parents and I said they weren't home and asked if I could take a message. He said no and that he would call back later. I asked what it was for and he said the smart education foundation. And he said he would call back later and he hung up. I tried calling the number back and it said it was disabled. ???????

Total scam.

Shadiest people ever.  What kind of person preys on children like this?  Human garbage?

David Mishel is a former loan officer.  That says a lot.  Not exactly someone HIS parents are proud of I'm sure.

Am receiving calls from 773-698-6064.  Hang ups.  When I dialed it back, the recording identified it as "The Smart Education Foundation".

he called my house and i was scared to answer the phone when im home alone so after a couple of rings i did and i said hello and no answer. Looked up the area code 773 and here i am.... :|

Keep getting a call from this number and no message is left. I pick up and hang up as I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST!

I've recieved calls from this number.  There is never anyone on the line.  I have not authorized them to call.  I am on the do not call list.

Rec call from Smart Education Foundation 773-698-6064.  Is this a scam?  For I have read some that say it is and others who say they the product and it was very helpful.

Someone from this number calls my home repeatedly asking for an alias my daughter made up for online purposes. When I explained this to the representative he was extremely rude! This is the second time I had to ask to be removed from their call list.

This guy kept calling me.... and the other night he called at 10:30 at night! when i asked him who he was, he just said he wanted to talk to my parents before hanging up.

Same number keeps calling.  No caller ID so I don't answer.  Be interesting to see if they are calling about daughter (already in grad school) or son, junior in H.S.  He did take the PSAT's this summer.
We are also on the do not call list.

They have called numerous times, trying to talk to ---'s parents. It was actually my BF's name, who is 47 years old. How they got his name and phone number, I don't know. They can be extremely rude, and are definitely bogus. Please do not give them your credit card infos, and if you already did so, call your credit card company asap.
Read the reports for the numbers 888 697 4276 and 888 697 4277, they are from the same scam. I think they are based in California.
We also received a couple of suspicious letters, telling us my boyfriend has been invited for a field trip in China this summer. We are on the do not call list, but they are persistent.

Received a call from this #. They knew my sons name and interest in collage.

I also had to say hello several times.  They called here looking for parents of a high school student with same last name as mine.  There are no students at this phone number.  This was at least the third time they called, I hadn't picked up other times.
