I brought this test material for my son and my duaghter who will be taking the sat next year and found nothing wrong with the material.  The young lady I spoke with was very informative and she gave me exactly what to expect when I get the material and she did say that the material was $199.00 with 30 days paid time to veiw the material or I could get my purchase price back at 189.00 because shipping was included.  773-698-6064 is the telephone number I called back when I had questions and that was the same company.  You cant please everyone.

If your child checks off that box on the psat registration form you will get calls from companies offering training material for the test.  Thats common sense. thats what the young lady told me when she called me or she said he did it at a college fair.  the telephone number 773-698-6064 is what showed up on my called id.

they called my house and said my son wanted training material for the sat  or act and I took down their information and did MY OWN RESEARCH AND FOUND that they have been licensed by illinois.  I did call the young lady back at the 773-698-6064 number and got her manager and ordered the material for my son. Please to say he is do well infact i didnt even know he was having such a hard time with his school subjects until he took the test

i think kids sign up for all kinds of stuff and then forget or don't tell their parents.  sort of like don't ask dont tell.  my kids do it to every now and then.  i didnt purchase the material but i don't put it past my kid

Yeah they just called me too and asked for my parents and when i told them they were not home before i could say anything they hung up. what in the world?

They just called me asking for my parents and I said they weren't avalible and they said okay we will try again later!

today 12/4/09 i got a call from 773-698-6064. They asked "is Aaron's Mom or Dad home?" and i said "no, who is this?" they hung up. I called them back after looking at this site and said "i got a call from this number and i looked it up and i heard it was a scam please dont call this number again." he said "this isn't a scam but i can take your number off the list if you would like." ...they better not call again from a different number.

I have missed calls on my Caller ID several times.  Also, when I answered the phone, no on appeared to be there so I hung up the phone.  Today, someone who identified herself as Diane finally spoke up after I had held on for quite a few seconds.  She gave her spill about the CD's she was offering with a 30 day money-back guarantee.  I advised her that I would have to get with my granddaughter to see if she would use these, and Diane said she would call me back on Monday, Dec. 7, 2009.

You do know that if you give your telephone number to a company, that it doesn't matter if you are on the Do Not Call list. That list is to keep companies who get your telephone number from the phone book from calling you. Students who sign up for the PSAT, SAT or ACT check off a little box like my son did, who admitted he did. And then you get a call from one of the companies the College Board send your info to.

tried the material....my daughter actually scored higher after studying and the number on my Caller Id is 773-698-6064 and it was also on my credit card statement.  the material is over priced though but worth it

These people have been reported as scammers. They have been reported as making unauthorized charges on people's accounts. Also they use another number. 866-569-1215. They have called me three times using two different numbers. They asked for the parents of D.L. I am the parent and already have a bachelors and am 51 years old. There is no way I signed up for the SAT. Please report them to the Do Not Call List. The more who report them the better. Also call your local high schools if you need legit SAT help. They can get you great local help.

Caller asked if I was parent of xxxx, and wanted to sell me SAT/ACT prep materials. My child had taken PSAT in October. Told him I'd prefer to talk it over with my child who was not at home at the time. He gave me a phone number to call 773-698-6064 and a website to check smartef.org and said the product cost $179. It seemed to be a legit telemarketing effort but who knows....

Calls from this number several times a month, at least.  We never answer but they are annoying and I would like to see these people stopped.  We are definitely on the DNC list.  I don't care if it's a charity or whatever, the calls are abusive and I'd love to see these pests stopped or fined or both.

I'm the parent and got a hard sales call... saying they were a NON-PROFIT. Well that raises scam flags since their website smartef.org says they are *applying* for non-profit status. Looks like a scam to me. Told them no thank you and then reported number on https://complaints.donotcall.gov/

Also we have VOIP service via Viatalk and the nice things is with their online interface we can block all variations of smartef.org 's numbers so no more calls from these shysters.

Got a call asking to speak to my mom or dad. My husband and I have had this number for almost 30 years...my folks have never lived here and i have NO children....morons....

i called back aqnd it was a lady saying that she always got phone calls from parents asking about their kids. scam

they keep calling but do not leave a message!
