I received a call from this number, asking for a parent of EITHER of my sisters.  I gave the phone to my dad, and he hung up on them.  It makes sense that they were SAT/PSAT prep, as both of my sisters are in high school.

this is a total scam, sent my hoakie materials back in april still haven't received a credit. kept getting run around now they won't return calls or respond to emails. contacted my credit card co.( you only have 60 days to dispute)  These people need to be put out of business , refund my money, and go to jail for fraud

I have been getting several calls from this number lately - shows up as "Unknown Name".  Being on "DNC" list doesn't stop junk calls like this.

Getting 2-3 calls per day. I blocked this number.

This number has been calling my house (central Ohio) for a couple of weeks now.  Have received several calls that leave no message when machine picks up or hang up when I answer.  Started soon after my daughter filled out FAFSA paperwork, but don't know if that's related.

Caller did not answer after repeated "hellos" and hung up. Caller ID said "Cellular Call".

I get calls 3 and 4 times a day from this number.  This has been going on for over a week. No one is ever there. It is driving me mad!!!

There is no way my child gave them my telephone number. Which means they went hunting in teh phone book to get it. Auto-dial machines listen for voice, if that get beep on your answering machine they hang up. I hold the phone near the television speakers and eventually a person picks up and listens to my television until they hang up. Caller ID is great. If SEF was as great as the employees who posted opinions here then they would lose the UNKNOWN NAME and let caller ID show who they really are.

When a real person wants me, they will be on the phone when I answer. When I hear silence or the clicks and whirls of a machine handiing me off to a bank of people, I hang up.

This ph# called the house at least 2x a day for past 3 days - never a message.  Thank you to those whom have 'investigated this' already - very much appreciated for the info. I have gained.  We are on DNC list also.

they called my house today and my mom answered. she had to say hello a couple of times before someone talked to her. the guy that talked to her was apparently nice and sounded legit and asked if she wanted to buy the product and my mom said she didn't want to make a decision on the spot and she was going to talk to me about it and when she asked if they had a website he said it was smartef.org. my mom thought it sounded good but i dont know. somepeople on here who say they bought it say it works but others are saying its a scam. im not sure what to do. i guess i just won't get it. the number that called was 773-698-6064

This number has been calling my cell phone and asking for Anna's mom or dad.  When I say that they have the wrong number, they hang up.

Be careful talking to people that are supposedly from an education foundation that wants to help your child score higher the SATs. These people KNOW you have a child in your home, and in some cases they know your child's name. How do they know this???? Don't give out any information on your children. And again, over priced AND worth it? What?

I received a call yesterday from this company.  I told them that I would discuss the program with my husband and daughter, but that it sounded good.  I did some internet research, including the BBB.  Almost every comment was negative so we decided NOT to purchase the product.  The guy called me back this morning and was extremely rude when I told him that we would not be interested.  He told me that the information that I read was wrong and that the BBB gave them a B+.  I told him I couldn't find a positive review from BBB.  He told me that I need to be more careful in believing what I read on the internet and HUNG UP ON ME!  I guess he's mad because he won't get the commission!!!!  We'll find another reputable program to help our child.
