- bugThere are at least 10 on my cell as early as 3am.
Can't trace it !! - BUG replies to KimNationalAccess Calling Plans: Unused airtime minutes are lost. Airtime minutes are not transferable. NationalAccess data session automatically terminates after 5 minutes of inactivity, unless used with a Mobile IP?capable device. You will see 777-000-0001 in dialed-digits column of bill for NationalAccess data sessions. During data session, if you travel outside the NationalAccess Rate and Coverage Area, or connection is otherwise unavailable, but you continue with session after returning within 5 minutes, you will be billed for the entire length of the data session.
- MunkyAngelVerizon cell phone service when I called they informed me that it was internet or Data usage I have blocks on everything but text on my minor child,s phone was my response. Verizon verified this and politely put a block on this number or how ever my son uses it. We believe it is mobile AIM because the phone calls last only a minute then the text part kicks in.
- Caller: Data or Internet
- StanPossible explanation for middle-of-the-night mystery calls from 777-000-0001 even when the phone is off... On my phone, under "Get It Now > Get Going > Mobile IM" I get this warning from Verizon before signing up: "You are about to access the Instant Messenger application. All instant messages and commands sent to and from this application will be in the form of TXT Messages. This means you must be subscribed to TXT Messaging to use the application, and you will be charges for all TXT Messages in accordance with your subscription. NOTE: ONCE YOU SIGN ON TO THE SERVICE, YOU WILL CONTINUE TO RECEIVE MESSAGES UNTIL YOU SEND THE SIGN-OFF COMMAND."
So it's another Verizon gotcha... you have to sign-off Mobile IM or you'll get billed from now until eternity. - ambrosiaLast fall I got over 60 phone calls from 954-100-0001
which is a strange number like this one.
I never answered. Then finally I answered and bitched them out royally
and threatened until some foreign guy started saying he was sorry.
After that they never called again as far as I know, not with
that number anyway. After reading this, I wonder if it was verizon all along? I don't even have their service. - Private replies to same male/mexican/accent| 11 repliesThis 777-000-0001 number keeps showing on my phone i dont understand. it shows my husband was on the phone with this number for ten min or more at a time. - Terry TrainorThe straight dope on 777-000-0001 calls!!
This has shown up once on my line, once on my wifes line, and a dozen times on my granddaughters line, so I called Verizon to see what the heck it was.
It is DATA charges for accessing the Web.
If you ever go to "get it now" on your phone to see what is there, download a game, etc., usage to this number will show up on your bill. - Texas guy| 1 replyJust looked at all calls for past month and see that I too am showing 5 calls showing 777-000-0001 at one minute per call. These are shown as promotion allowed minutes and I have not exceeded my plan minutes. Therefore, no extra charge, YET. But if they continue, then it could very well started adding costs to my bill.
How can this be stopped.- Caller: Not aware of having made these calls

- idealdebb replies to smartcpa| 1 replyI am receiving this number on one of my three lines only, verizon cell phone's. The phone is blocked from text and the internet. Yet, the number still shows up and it eats about 45 minutes of my bill for that one line. Why is this number showing up
- idealdebb replies to frenchie| 2 repliesThe 000-000-0086 is the number that shows up for voice mail. *86 to dial voice mail, and that number shows up on the bill. I am still tring to figure out the 777-000-0001.
- Mrs. DashI found out 000-000-0086 calls are from voice mail on verizon phones, but what about 777-000-0001 calls? Just recently my bill has jumped to 200.00 a month because of these calls. After chatting with verizon this morning I still don't know what's going on. Everyone of the calls on my bill say allow data which usually means it's in my plan. They said it was from messaging, voice mail, downloads and access to the internet. I don't know of any messages that last 38 minutes and I have two of them on this month's bill along with 148 more calls to this number putting us over our usage by 2 1/2 hours. Has anyone had any success with info about this number
- Caller: verizon
- Pat replies to idealdebbThis number shows up on my bill because i use it as the internet. You do not have to use the Verizions internet, I joined a website and a guy lets people use his server for free. All you have to do is change some settings. It only uses minutes not datatransfer. I would confront him if this is what he is doing.
- Concern Cross Referenced| 2 repliesThe 777-000-0001 was on my phone bill this month with Verizon. I cross referenced the dates and this was when we upgraded our phones and I was using the phones to download ringtones for our new phones. This could explain a lot. If you use any of the gaming, ringtones, or vcast options with verizon then this is one of the numbers that will show up. I will keep a check on it but I have been with Verizon for 13 years now and have not had any problems with them. (yet, hope this isn't the beginning of one) Good luck to all!
