I have been receiving charges for 000- and 777- numbers as listed above.  If anyone finds an attorney please contact me so I may be put on the list.  I have noticed that over 3 months it is getting worse, yet Verizon does not remove these charges or accepts blame.

According to my daughter and finding out the 777 number listed with others on this website it is for a BlackJacksoundboard2.  Where kids make prank calls to others and numbers get dialed out wherever.

verizon tells me that even though we have unlimited text/pic we still get charged 1 min air time for each pic/flix we send/receive. So, after using our shared 700 mins, we got billed .45 for each additional pic/flix we sent/received.  That is what the 1-777-000-0001 charges were for us. By switching to Nation Wide, we will not get those 1 min charges, but instead, if we go on-line, like "get it now" we will get billed $1.99/megabite

could this number show up if someone is calling your phone from another cell phone that has internet?  This number is showing up alot on my bill without charging money just air time?  I do not have internet on my phone but was wondering if it could be used like skype? you know, if I had internet on my phone and called a cell that didn't?

Knock on wood I hope my problem is solved. I called the office and a rep looked into why I was getting the 7770000001 Data stuff on my bill. He said if you've got e-mail or Alltel Backup or any subscription of any kind it will automaticly update every few mins and that goes on your mins as Data. So I'm going to cancel my e-mail and the Alltel Backup and even a game I'm subscribing to. H e said that should take care of it. I may even cancel the Celltop on my phone. I hope this helps some of you and I hope it helps me too. I was beginning to get scared.  Kitty

Just got my first Verizon bill and found the strange number 7770000001 on one of our cell phone lines 403 times and was billed .40 a min for 121 of the data calls. Verizon was of no help.
I did some of my own deducting and decided the phone was somehow dialing out 24hrs a day on its own. I checked this phone and noticed an email application. I beleive the phone was dialing out and updating emails all day and night long. I deledted the accounts that were listed in the email application at 5pm 8/31.....Checked the usage for that line on verizon website (which had already accumulated 117 min of data calls) this morning and low and behold the data calls stopped at 4:51p last night. I hope the problem is solved.

The phone I am getting these "data" calls on at 5:24am does not have text messaging or picture messaging at all. It simply has minutes for calls. Something fishy must be going on!

Thanks, I do believe the short cut key on my Samsung is the issue to this 777 number.  I called Verizon, they say its from accessing the mobile web, which I do not do, at least not intentionally. However, the design of the phone causes the shortcut key to activate when it's in the holster on occassion..sometimes I don't hear the phone beeping right away and find that it has been trying to access the web.  Verizon supposedly blocked web access for me but I am still seeing some of these data calls on my usage history. I'm going to change the shortcut keys right now.  I should not be billed for pic/text messaging as I have a plan that more than covers those I send/receive.  As for the 00086 number mentioned in some posts, that is the number that shows when you access your voicemail box.

I have four phones.     one line has the past month had call from this on data every 1/2 hour.
another line at 4:21 am   almost each morning.
i had 3 on a 3rd line and non on the fourth

they said it was a data / interent and they did block the one but that was before i knew others.
veriizone has been helpful.  will be wanting to figure it totally out though
    as it isn't right.

i know my daughter with a toddler did not get up every 1/2 hour to use her phone.
and my other one was not up at 4:21 a.m..
