Just pointing out that a  legit "Florida" solar company should have more than enough business *within* that state  - since there is a dearth of homeowner rooftop solar installations in all the areas we've seen in FL, which anyone who hasn't lived in nor been to FL might not know  That's why its important to point out that the state that *should* be a leader in solar is not, and its likely political because in the states where its being pushed, its because the political powers are backing it, encouraging it with funding.  So, why set up a solar company in FL and then call all over the USA trying to sell solar?  Obviously, not a legit entity.

You don't think there is political motivation and high level protection behind why these calls are allowed to continue?  There are undoubtedly filthy rich Americans & American Corporations behind these calls.  Its not all random foreign geeks in back rooms somewhere; if it was, we'd have launched an offensive against them by now.   You don't think the White House and Congressional Offices are getting all these calls, do you?   Besides, the foreign geeks are going after bigger fish - hacking into US Corporations and Government databases and mining info that way, not the slow, six calls at a time 'old fashioned' way!  Notice that the hackings make the evening news; the relentless harassment of everyday 'little' Americans is mostly ignored unless a politician wants to score some publicity points.

And, no, my software is not compatibe with 800Notes to allow me to use bold.  I've tried; it doesn't work.

Just letting people know this scammer is still out there. I answered after 2 rings but no one on the line. Caller is now blocked and I'll be ready for the influx of bogus calls that will now be coming my way.

Agree with you wholeheartedly on every point you've stated, including about your governor and no, I'm not a "D", nor any other party. I vote for the candidate and their platform, but I suffered through all the governor years of Jeb's brother and then two torturous terms as president. As for the telemarketers, I view their home intrusion via the phone (utility) companies as no less criminal as though some stranger had storm troopered my front door down then held me at knifepoint, threatening me and my life to participate in something I did not request, want, nor indicate would help me in any way.  Home invasion is home invasion, no matter how they interject themselves into your life, uninvited, and often disrupting lives that is injurious not just inconvenient. I reference the homes and  lives of those who are aged, and/or disabled, and or live alone with serious illnesses that are called to phones for such nonsense.

It's just a shame that our laws [DNC "Lists"] are not enforced.

Scammers, solar as everyone has said.  I told him to go... well, you can guess.  So, he called right back, which I just picked up and hung up.  3 times.  LOL.  And why report, the number is probably spoofed or something.  Do Not Call list is a scam as it is.  Probably going to dump this line, I get 3 to 5 calls a day like this.

Got a call on my work cell number and answered.  A lady spoke rapid Spanish at me.  I replied in English that she had the wrong number.  She said, "Sorry" in English and hung up.  I have no idea who this is.  Second call I have gotten this week from a Florida number.  The last sort of left a voice mail.  I got a voice mail but it sounded like they accidentally left the line open because I could here all of the background noise in the room.  Sounded like a multilingual call center with many voices in many languages.

Same shitweasels, different day.  They have called numerous times.

Spoofed Number: Caution, 786-708-4154 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.

Don't answer it.  Number changes from time to time, but it is a robo dial.

Please try and educate yourself about these phony calls instead of reflexively making it political.  Just because the call says Miami does not mean it is from Miami.  Most of these numbers have been spoofed.  I often get calls from many phony locations when the operator is obviously calling from a boiler room in India.  It is a scam, pure and simple and has nothing to do with any political party.  They want your credit card or other personal info. That's why they call. Period.  The last time a solar company called me I asked where they were calling from and they said California even though the number was a Miami number.  I told the caller he was a liar and should never call again.  Of course, they always do.

You're being far too optimistic. Complaining here does nothing but let others know you were contacted by this particular number. That has some value - that's why I check this site - but it has no effect on the telemarketer. There's nobody here but us chickens. Nobody here is in any position to do anything about it.

Don't be naive. They go to the county recorders office and gather all the data on homeowners. That is were you get on "the list." It is public information that is exploited for criminal activity. I have a minimal online footprint but I get daily calls for everything from solar panels to credit consolidation to Nigerian prince that wants to give me free money.
