Call hang up at 215 pm PDT.  Have not had a call from them in months.  However, those of you who do not comprehend phone systems ... the DNC list is for LEGAL businesses.  Why would crooks abide by a legal list?  You interact, your information is sold to other crooks and scammers and you get more calls.  Do not answer, do not push a button, do not leave it laying on the side until it stops, do not call back ... unless you want more calls nonstop.  You make them money by interacting.  Report to FTC each time and they may be able to zero in on them eventually as they did the fraud med alert phone calls which was a huge group and tremendous amount of elderly and impaired ripped off.  Make sure they have an answering machine and do not pick up the phone; keep their last years safe for them.

Caller ID this time, Miami FL

Party activated my personally owned communication device (telephone), located in a non-business (private) residence, and on private property.  My Caller ID showed ''incomplete and/or unrecognized info", therefore call was forwarded to my device's Voice Mail.  My Voice Mail recording then prompted the calling party to state the purpose of their activation/alarm (4-rings) of my device/phone.  Caller would not comply.  Trespassing, Disturbing The Peace, Theft, are a few of the laws broken by this caller, IMO.

Called last night 650 pm no message Miami Florida on caller id

I received a call from this number on Oct. 15 at 12:25 PM, and answered because I was expecting another call. I'm in Rhode Island. A woman with a foreign accent said "Hello, I'm calling from Go Green Solar. How are you?", and I hung up. Their website, gogreensolar.com, gives their location as Placentia, Calif.--not Florida, and it gives a different phone number.

You can find your name, phone number and address on the Research USA data base found on many library web sites.  There is a disclaimer indicating that you "may" be on the do not call list but obviously that is ignored.  Best strategy is to also ignore calls from any out of state number you do not recognize.

Good for you, this isn't a political forum. BTW, my guess is this person has a (D) behind their name...which is why they won't get what you wrote; they think they are educating us all.

These robo calls have a new scam.  I received a call from another scammer, and I didn't answer it.  However, after they stopped ringing my phone (after about 8 rings) they hung up ~ and then they called right back and let it ring only twice and then they hung up.  When I attempted to block that number, the operator asked if I wanted to block the last number who had called me, and I said yes ~ but then I was told they couldn't identify the last number called because it had not rung enough times.  They are very clever.  So after about 20 minutes I received a call from (786) 708-4154, and the second it finished the 8th ring and stopped ringing, I picked up the receiver so that prevented them from calling me again ~ and at that point I contacted my phone carrier and blocked their number.  Ya just gotta outsmart these jerks!!!

Called and asked for my husband by name. I told them he wasn't here and they said they would call back later. I tried to get who was calling but they hung up so fast!

Just got a call from this number. Caller ID: Miami FL.  I don't know anyone in Miami!  They hung up when machine kicked on. Turds.

There is no one at the other end

Telemarketers from India.  They typically spoof the caller ID to show Florida, New York and New Jersey.  Trying to sell solar panels, Punjabs calls me 3 or 4 times a day.

If 800Notes offered a *bolded* option, I wouldn't 'yell' with caps.  Just trying to make a point, and I stand by those points.  Florida is NOT a 'solar' state!
As for being 'political', if the source of these calls is ultimately traced to one of these violators, it doesn't matter what political party/lean they are.  Criminal is Criminal.  I've just noticed there is a tendancy among the uber rich and corporations - who tend to be Republicans, although not always - to think they can get away with more than the rest of us because they expect to buy/bribe their way out of trouble.
And, guess what?  I'm 'here' at this page again because I just got ANOTHER of these calls - from this phone # -today.  Have been getting 4-6 calls daily since staying at Choice Hotels a couple of times this summer, and also last February, when these "Buy Solar Panels Over the Phone with a Credit Card from a Foreigner" calls started - right after we made online reservations with Choice.  So far we gotten about 170 of just THAT type of spam call since Feb 2015.  Doesn't even include all the other spam calls - interest rate, medical scams, microsoft computer virus, etc. that we also get, mixed in with these.  Just got back from a short trip (Choice Hotels) last week; even more calls this week.  Hmmmmm.  Just Coincidence?  Doubt it.
