I've been receiving these calls for the last few months and have been ignoring them but decided to answer it today. The lady that answered asked for me by name and wanted to know if I wanted a subscription to ECN magazine. ECN magazine is for the electronics industry.When I informed her that I already had a subscription she wanted to renew it for 3 more years.  I told her I had just did it last week.  Maybe the calls will stop now.  

The phone number for the Editor-in-Chief for ECN magazine is 973-920-7037 and his name is Aimee Kalnoskas and email aimee.kalnoskas@advantagemedia.com.

Phone calls have been coming in from this phone number the last 2 days (about 10 calls).  The call does not hang up until after we pick up and say something.  When I call the number back I get a message saying the Toll Free Number has been Disconnected.

Received call at 11:29 AM again and when picked up in two rings, they hung up.

I have been getting multiple calls per day from this Sunland Properties. Today the number was 786-923-0967. I held on a couple of times and figured out that it's an automated dialer that doesn't put the calls through to their operators fast enough and disconnects just as they  begin to talk to me.  I can't get them on the line long enough to request that I be removed from their calling list.

I got four calls from this number in past three days. it was disconected every time I picked up the phone.

Called multiple times in the last few days and never responds when I answer.

Have received one or two calls a day from this number for the last three days.  Caller does not speak when I answer.  Reverse-lookup shows Miami-Dade County in South Florida for 786 area code.  I don't know anybody in Florida.  I have programmed my caller ID to show "Ignore" for this number, so I can do so in the future.

1-786-923-0962 at least once sometimes more at my job.  My boss says we are on the Do Not Call list, but they are getting still getting through.  I can very busy at times and it's getting to be a hassle to stop and answer a bogus call.

I too get these calls from 786-923-0962 several times a day, Same scenario as others "No one there when answered"
I'm in Arizona so this is NOT a localized (FL) problem.
Has anyone has success stopping this non-sense?
I filed a report with the FCC as well but the calls keep coming......

i received a call and saw the name and did not pick up.! Suniland Properties did use #786 923 0962......NOW 302 356 6269  !!!!!  I AM ON a dod not call list.!!!!!!

calls recieved every day sometimes 2-3 times a day

They call me every day between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM PDT.

Same thing.  No one is on the other end and after about 45 seconds I get reorder busy.

I report them on the Do Not Call Registry web site everytime they call.

ADDIIONAL INFO on this company (if, indeed, this is the real number from which the calls are being originated):

I verified that the calls are being originated out of North Miami, from a alternative telephone company, Allegiance (owned by XO Communications) [from BellSouth/ATT rep and telco info web site].

Action: I'm calling XO Communications to see if they can take action to stop the annoying calls made by their customer.

I found that "Call Rejection" feature on my line *did not work* for this (out of state) number. :(  I had selected this feature since it is intended to allow you to selectively bar calls from specific number. Perfect fit, right? It doesn't work for this number and doesn't say why, although the feature description noted that this feature does not work for some long-distace numbers (among other restrictions).

SUGGESTION:
(1) Call the local provider, XO Communications, Custome Service (888-575-8309) to file a report of Annoying Calls coming from that number.
They will call the company to ask them to stop (they confirmed that it is "Sunland Properties" as indicated on Calling Name devices from other postings on this site).

(2) Wait 24 hours to see if the calls stop

(3) Call the local Police to file an Annoying Call report ands they will follow up locally. At this point, I'm unsure whether that would be (a) North Miami Police Department (305-891-0294) or (b) North Dade Police (305 4-POLICE).

I've completed Step 1 and will report back on how well this works.

We are attempting to identify the person or company responsible for making the calls from 786-923-0962 so we can file a civil complaint.  We need some sold information regarding this company i.e. who area they , what are selling, can they refer you to their Web site, refer you to another call back number where you can speak to someone etc.  We're pretty successful when we get a good ID.  Help always appreciated.

Caller left 2 minutes worth of hold music on my answering service at work.

I am getting that call too and I heard a women with kids in the back round.  They call me twice a day. once in the morning and once in the afternoon.  They say nothing when I say hello.  So the other day I said quit calling this fing number you stupid b****. But they keep on calling.  I hate to change my number and have to give my new one to everyone.

When I call the number back a mans recording says "sorry the toll free number you have dialed is disconnected" I dont know about the sunland properties as i have a cell and not a lan line. but im getting fed up with it

I was surprised to find this on google. I thought I was the only one being disturbed by this number. In my case it just rings, then no one is there. Happens every day, sometimes 3 times a day. I have contacted AT&T Wireless (my cell phone service provider in CA) and complained formally to Customer Service. It now appears to be a much bigger problem and sounds like some illegal activities take place. I am going to email every possible authority and include the URL to this website too.
