I get at least one call a day from this company.  They are not just targeting floridians.  I am in Kansas, and they are calling my place of business.  I never get a person, just hangups.  Called the number on the CLID and got the same "this number is disconnected" Voice mail.

They Just called again!!!!!!!!!!!  30 seconds after I made the post!

i got a call from this number today and when I called back it was disconnected. tried doing the 585 area code and got the same message. I have two teenagers in the house...I don't like it at all..debbie

These idiots keep calling everyday and if I pick up and say nothing they stay on the line. I say hello and they hang up!

i get these phone calls at least 3-4 times a day, i'm sick and tired of answering these things and no one says anything, my time is important too! Does any one out there know what can be done please?????

I have also been getting 3-5 calls/week on my cell from this number.  Today I answered, got a Caribbean accented woman who said "Hello?"  I came back with "Why are you calling me?" twice.  I think I caught her off guard...but she came back with "I'm calling to renew a subscription".  I said I am not interested in renewing any subscription or receiving any more calls from her, and to remove me from their calling list.  Then I hung up.

Man, that felt good. :-)  We'll see if it holds.

I've received multiple calls, nobody on the other end, same "disconnect" message as reported earlier. It also sounds like a bogus disconnect message.

THIS WORKS to stop the Annoying Calls: One call to make it stop
(this is an update to the process that I started a week ago, described above, in previous post from "Robert" on 31 August)

PROCESS:
(1) Call the local provider, XO Communications, Custome Service (888-575-8309, staffed 24/7) to file a report of Annoying Calls coming from that number.
(XO owns the local telephone company in Miami that provides service for the number used by this business).
XO Customer Service will create an order to call the business to ask them to stop (XO confirmed that this number is owned by "Sunland Properties," as indicated on Calling Name devices from other postings on this site).

(2) Wait 24 hours to see if the calls stop

(3) Call the local Police to file an Annoying Call report ands they will follow up locally. At this point, I'm unsure whether that would be (a) North Miami Police Department (305-891-0294) or (b) North Dade Police (305 4-POLICE).

SUCCESS: I have received *no calls* from this number since calling XO Customer Service (completing Step 1).
I did not have to call the Miami Police to have them intercede.

I tried Robert's 8-Sep-2007 suggestion but the listed number didn't work.

I did call XO Corporate at 1-703-547-2000, Ask to be transfered to "LEGAL", then asked to be transfered to "abuse and complaint" department. Give them your phone number and any details. They will "reach out" to "Sunland Properties" to advise them to stop calling your number.

This company is calling my cell phone everyday. Cingular indicates that it is associated with a Pharmaceutical company marketing activity and that the only thing I can do is change my #. This adds up to daily charges to my cell phone

Tried Robert XO Customer Service (888-575-8309)number and the number is non working. Check # three times didn't connect. Per Eric,  Called  XO Corporate at 1-703-547-2000, lines busy will try again

After many many phone calls from this number, there was FINALLY somebody on the other end. THe lady said she was signing ppl up for subscriptions to ECN magazine... Never heard of it, it's a trade magazine. I was a subscriber to Wireless Weekly, one of their sister pubs. I demanded they remove my name and number from any and all mailing lists. He was pretty nice about it too.
We'll see if ti works. If you don't hear from me again... It worked.

Glad I am not alone here. Thought I would search by this number to see if anything came up and here we all are. I suspect a police report is about all that can be done.

I do have one idea. If ANY of you do get someone on the phone, play along with whatever they are selling until you get an email, website, a brochure in the mail, etc. We can then all use this info to get them to stop. Like most here, just hang ups.

I have been getting calls from this number for the past several weeks.  Sometimes 3-4 times a day.  My caller ID gives the name Sunland Propert.  I have never answered the call, just let it go to my voice mail.  They never leave a message.

I am also on the no call list.  I live in Eugene Oregon.
