Keeps calling and wants nothing

It is a SCAM! Some guy called himself Christopher Barker left a message claiming there was a business matter in my name and yet to my knowledge I DON'T OWE ANYONE ANYTHING AT ALL!  Don't bother wasting your time trying to call them back either because if you don't owe anyone anything you shouldn't have to!

agreed - they will never get money from me if I owe unless they have someone appear in person with a receipt.  Sadly - even a receipt is useless in many cases as they are inherently bent on collecting - and... if their paperwork is screwed - they will try to collect again. when you tell them you paid - they will assume you are a deadbeat liar.  There is a special place for those company stakeholders in the afterlife - small consolation right now, but not so much for an eternity.

Come on, Georgina, you know 800notes isn't calling you and shouting on this site is not going to stop your callers.  Take control.  Get a call blocker for your landline and a call blocking app for your cell.  You'll drive the ba$stards crazy because all they'll get is a continuous ring with no access to you or your voicemail.  You'll never be bothered by "them" again.  Just put "call blockers" into the search box and you'll see the forum filled with discussion about different brands.  You can also just google "call blockers."  Go get 'em, Georgina!

They called about debt colection  but  i know  this is scam.I dont have debt thats i know.

Many of those who work as Debt Collectors are not polite because they are not Boy Scouts and/or Girl Guides.  They are mainly a downtrodden lot, and their ranks include ex-convicts, drug addicts, 20-somethings without high-school diplomas and a variety of other hard-luck cases.
Oh, my Gawd, they are like thugs.  However, the more clean-cut types simply can’t get the job done.  So don't expect that debt collector, who is calling you, to be nice, they're too stupid for that!!!

They are trying to Illegally collect unpaid debts that are past the Statute of Limitations. You have the option to send a cease and desist order and once done they can no longer harass you without  breaking the law. You could potentially file a lawsuit against them after the order is filed if the calls do not stop. Buying old debt for pennies and trying to collect is not legal, neither is their FAKE government of Canada logo at he top of their site.  These idiots are NOT the government and frankly there is nothing they can do to collect. Get your cease and desist letters ready and be as rude as you can.   Also know that hey also operate under the name CollectCents  both are a joke and should be treated accordingly.

A lady named Monica has been calling our phone at least 4 times last week and again today.  Actually, on November 7, 8, 9, 12, and 14 November.
Her extension is 254.  I do not have debt, and she has our son's telephone number.  Tell her to do her own dirty work and stop harassing me.  My son has told me he owes nothing.

The reference number of the debt they are calling about has nothing to do with me, my wife or  my two children. I have spoken to them twice the latest today November 15, 2016 around 6:50 pm. My has also spoken to them as such I do not get it why they keep on harassing us with their allowing phone calls?

These fools called out of nowhere today. I remember about 10-12 years ago they called me about a cc debt I had.. they vanished, now, when I start to finally get credit cards again, they call me... said "my file has come up for review" on message.. really???? After TEN years you're reviewing my file???? Eat garbage! Ur not getting one red cent from me!!!... pffff reviewing my file!!

scam has to be sent a email to me for money ... I had been stalked on Facebook had a fake name   they claimed the fake name owed them money I explained rcmp were involved as the person never existed and when I said there is a police report and when I asked to whom money was owed they hung up 😩 seriously how does a non existing person owe money to an account they wouldn't name

Calling and harrassing my neighbors! Awful! How can that be legal?

got a call with a message looking for someone who isn't me...not sure that I want to call them back at all

I've been getting phone calls from this company, generally in the morning just minutes before I wake up. I haven't answered any of these calls, so they leave a message on my voicemail (which I delete) asking for a call back.

Details were vague, as is the nature of debt collectors leaving voicemail behind, but the suspicion is there. They're calling about an old debt from many years ago, but what's highly suspicious is they're using burner numbers to call my phone with, while leaving a painfully obvious trail of their *actual* phone number and extension on the voicemail.

For the uninitiated, a burner number means they use a phone number either one time or for one day (sometimes more than) to contact you, then scrap that number so they can't be easily traced. Beware of these people.

They call and call. Well they can just keep calling cause I'm pretty sure that they have to send a notice via regular mail before they can call and call you. BTW no debt here, so why they keep calling is beyond me.
