Recently received the same scam call

If you are receiving unwanted calls and it really is Comcast, you can call them and tell them to put you on their do-not-call list.

However often scammers will spoof their caller ID to make it look like Comcast, in that case simply block their number.

They called three times before leaving a message and it was a Comcast recording regarding an appointment. Can't figure out why they did not leave that message the first time. I was getting ready to block the caller.

Because maybe it wasn't Comcast calling but a scammer spoofing the number..

2 spoofed calls from this number.  Actual number is comcast but was a scammer spoofing since I don['t have comcast.

This is NOT Comcast. They do not do business or have any service in this town. Suspect this is a scam.

Robo call from Comcast...says they are updating Norton on my account....I don't have Comcast

If this is really Comcast, they can email me.  I blocked the number.  I do not accept annoying telemarketing calls from companies that have me as a customer.

I think they're spoofing comcast's number. They keep calling me and my voicemail says it's from "Eric Jeffries" but there's never an actual message.

Ask for me and my husband by our names said they were Huntington bank called at 8:58.p.m this is not a Huntington bank number

Call 6-8 times a day then hang up... it is not Comcast... I have checked

Comcast.  They call when your payment is late.

Guy pretending to be from Comcast saying they had detected that my email had been hacked.  Wanted me to get online so they could fix it! I can’t believe people still fall for this cr-p.  SCAM!!!!!!!
Criminals have no problem using a legitimate number to fool people.  We have actually been by our own phone number.  Trust no one - question everything.

Same as above but when the guy gave me his spiel and I laughed, he asked why I was laughing and I said because I don’t believe you are from Comcast.  So he said that he was not from Comcast.  So I said OK .... Then it got really weird-he said I like talking to you cause you are so nice...like his wife.  So I said I don’t think my husband would approve and I hung up.  Really strange and kind of creepy.

This guy just called me and said he was from Comcast and that someone was trying to access my network, I immediately sensed it was a scammer so I asked him if he needed my Credit Card info he said no, I need your SSN# so I gave it to him 777-93-7793 it said it was not right, so I proceeded just keep him on the phone; he got frustrated and started calling me the N-word. so I asked him what was a N*gger explain it to me because I didn't know, I asked him how he knew I was a N*gger he said by my name...  LOL.. so I said what does his name say about him?  LOL  he hung up..
