We have Comcast but NOT sure if this is legit or a spoof. Last night there was a Comcast # with the 866 area code & today, 9/24/19 @ 4:03 PM ...the Delay: Asked for my name (Indian voice) He asked How RU today? Hung up. So NOT sure if it's real or fake. Maybe we should chat with Comcast asking if their #s are legit or being spoofed. ANYTHING from Modem issues, unplug, computer trouble or whatever. There's also a fake Comcast Cable spoof. That 1 is blocked. THIS 1 is next.

voicemail, saying they were from comcast regarding negative comments on their survey and said they would email me. They did, so mine was real. but I do believe everyone else when people say that they got spoofed calls from them.

unwanted bothering phone calls from Comcast. please stop such bothering calls.

not only is it a scam. they want you yo install a program so they can control you computer

I dont know of this is really Comcast. But if it is poor business ethics. These [***] call from this same number 16 times a day. No vmail. Waking me up at 6am. And continue to call every hour. Finally had enough and answered it. They were looking for my mother. I'm 32 years old and haven't lived with my parents since I was 18 and have never had a Comcast account. And this is my number on a completely different bill and different cell phone network. This is a pretty poor business model and I will never have an account with them after this unnecessary harassment. Leave family members alone. I wish it were possible to start calling every family member connected to these annoying callers.

TEN years later and this number is calling me on my cell. If it's COMCAST, they sure as h-ll don't have any reason.  I'm NOT picking up or returning the call.  COMCAST should at least have the decency to have a caller ID if it is them!

This number calls all day long never leaving a message.

They have my name, tell me I need to change some settings on my router...but I dont have Comcast as a provider?  I dont think so...

Real live person with Indian accent claims to be calling from Comcast and that I have malicious virus. I don't subscribe to Comcast and never had business with them. I asked him a few questions and he hung up.

this is not Comcast.
they called me 16 times in one day.  starting at 2:00
they leave a voice mail, but it is onky a lot of oeople talking on phones.
I heard one guy say have you gotten any calls from Russia.
that told me this is a scam, not Comcast.  why would Comcast be calling and asking this.

I have put my number on Comcast do not call list.  that was a week ago, and still getting calls.
I have a Florida number, but have nit been in Florida for yrs.

I too am getting these calls as the Comcast rep  John finally made me aware. this number is  a scam it is a telemarketering number now I know cuz when I called back this number 18002662278 it is a automated comcast greeting..even saying my name...crazy stuff. I did report this to comcast and now I can safely Block this scam number...hope this helps your situation.

continually calls multiple times a week.  All calls I get are spammers spoofing comcast.  Call today was silence on the other end.

I spoke to comcast they told me they have not tried to contact me  but they have report's that someone is claiming to be them trying to sell security products

They called early 7am this morning...left no message.  I have no services with them.

Someone is spoofing Comcast/Infinity number.

A man identifying himself as working for Comcast said my wifi was compromised and I needed to change my password.  I was supposed to go to a website which would give him access to my modem.  After I realized this was a scam, I hung up and they repeatedly called me back at least 12 times.  I called Comcast at the same number and they do not service my area.  I tried to speak to a live person, but their system does not allow you to contact consumer service unless you have an account.
