this number called 3 times a day for a couple days

I've been getting this call on my cellphone for at least a month.   Usually once or twice a day every few times a week.   I've actually spoken to them twice and asked to be taken off b/c they aren't allowed to call my cellphone to solicit.

I finally called the main number and pressed 5 and asked to be put on the DNC list.

She put me on on the list. . .so hopefully it'll stop now.

This number calls ev ery other day, sometimes 3times per.  Answered once.  Just dead air so I put them on hold.  Annoying jerks.

KEEP CALLING SEVERAL TIMES. VERY ANNOYING !

Called for the wife and can barely speak English.  Something about a furnace, but couldn't understand.  Very annoying and hung up.

Calls arrive daily to sell upgraded furnace plans.  

They push the furnace cleaning and plumbing coverages.  I had the cleaning for many years.  They quietly stopped the cleaning and only perform visual inspections, they clean only if the furnace is really dirty or recommend new parts/furnace replacement for additional labor $$$.  A total scam.  Plumbing for pipe leaks or damages almost never happens and cheaper to hire a plumber when needed.  Your home insurance would cover any flooding anyways.  The final plan is a furnace warranty.

All plans are locked in for a minimum of 1 year at $15 each month.

Just had another call from 'them' and the person couldn't even get our name right! Husband hung up on them. It wouldn't be so bad if they spoke 'our' language.

They've called me about 4 times in the past 2 hours...getting really annoying

Wow. This guy is back. So annoying. Calling me 5 times a day even on Saturday.

Missed this number in the past and found this page. This time they called and I picked up my cellphone at 10:19am.

I couldn't understand the lady's accent at first and made her repeat. She said Direct Energy and then started to read off a script about a 5-warranty. I told her I'm already covered, that this call is not legitimate and that I've already been warned about this call. Said sorry and then I hung up. Sounded like she was going to say something, but I hung up too fast.

So I don't know if that was really Direct Energy. Probably was, but I was skeptical because I had been called a couple months before to extend my car warranty right after the radio said people were getting scammed from those calls. I just hope they don't sign me up for anything without my permission. Companies tend to do that. Plus, if they are mad at me for hanging up, maybe they could mess with my account. Usually I'm not so mean, but I don't like people trying to scam me.

So.  Direct Energy has badgered me with calls, despite my being on the feds Do Not Call list.

I called them back and told them

a) I think breaking law around the Do Not Call list isn't quite what a good corporate citizen does (and I've been on it for what, a year now?),

and

b) I want to be called back and told why Direct Energy decided the fines for breaking the law outweigh the benefit of calling people to harrass that explicitly said DO NOT CALL!!!

Call 'em back and blast 'em.

received a call from this number today. I did not answer it.

This number has called here about every 45 minutes from 9ish a.m. until almost 9 at night for the past few days and no one is ever there when I do pick up ---- of COURSE they would pick my week off to do so.

Not that it even matters - we're in a RENTAL!!

unwanted call - calls with no responce and ties up line.

called and could not even pronounce my name, so I knew it was noone I know. What good is the no-call list?? this is the 2nd solicitated call I receive today from unrelated solicitors. frustrated....

called several times a day for a few weeks, called the number back and spoke w/a rep requesting to be removed from their call list.  We'll see what happens!

800-266-3939 has called the house over 50 times in the past 3 days.  It's starting to be more than once an hour.  Please don't call anymore.

called 4 times today (and it's still early), 5 times yesterday and countless times throughout the last couple of weeks.  What the heck is the DNC list for?

I e-mail their "privacy" department at privacy@directenergy.com 3 times so far over a 2 month period and each time I get a reply saying that my number has been permanently removed. Next day - 4 calls per day.
