800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

It's true this is Direct Energy and they can be really annoying with their marketing, but this call was legitimate. They wanted to book an appointment for furnace cleaning, as I have a contract with them. I normally ignore calls from toll free numbers, and I might have missed this. I wish they didn't use an 800 number with no name.

If is says Unknown Name then they can forget my ever answering. If you are a legit business, even if you use a call center to make your calls...then make yourself known. Most people know enough not to answer an 800 number.

I keep getting calls from this number even though i've asked them not to call

Direct Energy dishonnest way of making people picking-up the phone.  They always phone with an registered message saying "please hang up or dail this number.  Then if you do not pick-up the phone, there is a noisy signal non stop (like a busy/occupied noice".  This annoying noisy "signal" will stop only then the time allowed on your answering machine is over.

This kind of trick to confuse poeple and make them answerting their phone is really disgusting.  People should complain to the CRTC about this bullying practice.

These calls are nothing but telemarketing sales calls. If they were concerned about your furnace cleaning, they would have left a message. They never leave a message! They only want to get you on the line in order to sell you something.

If they were sincere and cared about you they would identify themselves and leave a message. They never do (except when you forget to pay the bill haha).

Not just referring to Direct Energy but all the annoying businesses. Banks,cable,telephone,duct cleaning. It's out of control.

This is likely another one of their annoying sales calls.

I have had no less than 6 calls from this number today, all of which I ignored as I always ignore 800 numbers.
These calls have been increasing on a daily basis. However, I do have a spring cleaning contract for my furnace, and am now wondering if they were trying to book an appointment. However, I have never run into this harassment before. Normally I get a one time call and everything is fine. This is more than frustrating as how do I know if Iaec am being asked to book my annual furnace test or being sold unneccessary services.

I received 7 calls from these jerks today.
Called to tell them to stop calling and was told it takes 30 days to process my request.  WHAT?????

I'd love to get the CEO's email or phone number and call/email him every time they call me.

If they are trying to book an appointment why are they not leaving a message for you to call back?

Received a call this afternoon from 800 266 3939 and let it ring through to the answering machine but no message was left.

Called today or couple days ago.  Not sure.  Don't care.
