I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM A LONG DISTANCE # FROM  THEM 02-10-09 PM TIME , THEY GAVE ME A CASE # AND EVERYTHING AND SAID I NEED TO CALL THIS 1800 # REGARDING AN URGENT MATTER SO I DID. THEY TRANSFER ME TO THE MOST UPTIGHT RUDE PERSON FORCING ME TO MAKE A CREDIT CARD OR CHECK PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE AND I CANNOT HANGUP WITHOUT MAKING A PAYMENT OF $8,000 RIGHT NOW AT ONCE BUT THERES A COLLECTION BALANCE OF 24,000 IN TOTAL. I TELL HER I NEED TO LOOK INTO THIS . SHE GETS ANGRY AND LOUD AND DEMANDS MONEY RIGHT NOW AND SAYS THERES NOTHING TO LOOK INTO AND IT IS WHAT IT IS. TODAY IS 02-11-09  I CALL AGAIN TO VERIFY SOME ACCT INFO GIVE THEM MY NAME AND "CASE NUMBER " THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME AND FOR SOME WEEEEIRD REASON MY INFO CANNOT BE FOUND THE CASE # WAS UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME WOW! FRAUD TO ITS FULLEST!

I got a call from a Juan Perez (x2491) who just said that I had to call him back.  After reading the previous posts, I am scared about this suposed 'scam.'  I am currently having issues with AT&T regarding an unpaid balance that I have been working on for months now.  I am hoping this will all end soon.

He did not mention on the message ANYTHING that he was calling about.  Just his name, agency, phone number and for me to call him back as soon as I get the message.  That is it.  Nothing to tell me what the call was in regards to.

I have been receiving calls from these people asking for people that I don't know.  They say that it's a "private business matter".  When I tell them they have a wrong number and hang up they call back immediately and ask for someone else.  Last night I had 4 calls withing 8 minutes.  Apparently they are a "collection agency" of some kind.  How they got my phone number is unknown - fortunately I don't have any outstanding bills - but I'm tired of this.  From now on I'll check my caller ID BEFORE answering, and, just incase any of these morans are reading this be forewarned I intend to blow my police whistle into the phone the next time I see their number on the caller ID.

The owner encorages this kind of behavior !!! They should have been on that 20/20 show about bill collectors !!!!

I hope you did not give them your credit card numb !!!! they will use it to pay other accounts !!!!!! Not yours either.

IF you don't pay your bills don't be suprised when collectors call and ask to pay on your debt.

But if your consumer collector their is no lower station in life.

They called, the message is very crackled. I cannot understand what they are saying, like they are calling from a cell phone. It's very unprofessional, if they actually are a bill collector. It seems more like they are running a scam.

caller from i-800-276-2423 call, and harrassing on my job, Don't know what it is, and I don't care. but they need to stop calling my job. Later I found out it is a bill collection from Prince -Parker and Associates, Inc.

I am getting calls from these people several times a day, and have tried to explain that I am working with ATT on a billing matter, and trying to resolve the issue. They hang up, are rude, disrespectful, and in general just plan nasty.  I called ATT they give me "the we can't do anything about it".

but you can do something about it !

Interesting! First, let me state I do not owe anyone money. However, I have received many calls from these guys on our brand new phone number. It is virtually impossible that anyone I conduct business with would even have this new number. I suspect they are robo-calling numbers in an attempt to collect $$$ from unsuspecting people.

When I called to have the number removed they hung up on me.

Someone needs to look into these guys!

called to speak to an employee, I asked if it was business or personal, she said business, (which she lied...her name was Teresa).Then wanted me to give a message to a person.

If you gave them your cc info without knowing what you were paying you are STUPID.

You must have been one of those collectors on 20/20, that's why they fired you.

If you dont owe the bill you need to put it in writing and send by fax or mail to Prince Parke. That wil put the acct on hold til ATT investigates the problem and all calls will stop until they are told you owe the acct. It's called a dispute.

Speak to a supervisor, they skip trace the address and got your number
