i just recived a phone call from 800-276-2423 the guy was nice but they called my landlord did not like that at all please you need to look at this company too many calls

thoes people call me also, I dont own them money, some how they got my number and calls me on a saturday and at work, leave my work out of it.. I dont like that alot, I look up the number and alot of thoes places are bogus..I also got a phone call from a tresea Honycut.. I guess we should call her up and bug her at work...

They called claming that they were from some law ferm stating that the account is now federally regulated now gave me a fake docket # and everything!!!

Yup, it appears to be AT&T's collection agency.  AT&T is too big for their britches.  I don't owe them and they will not be paid.

How do you stop these morons from harrassing my mother?  Also, if they are really collecting for AT+T, I had this discharged in a bankrupty in 2003.  Do I contact the federal court that granted the bankrupty?

This company has not called me regarding anything.  They have been harrassing my 77 yo mother about a debt that was discharged in bankrupty court.

this person has been calling asking for my daughter rhonda after a while they called asking for her by her middle name sue well this has gone on for ever i got mad told them this is my home they said they would take this number {home} off the calling list this was last week.  well  this is starting at the end of the week today i recieved a call 800-276-2423 ex-2516   i am geting fed up with the bull i don't no if this is real or not the first call's i ask tem they said they said they was calling because of a pass due eletric bill .   if this lady call's back i will ask her again see if they tell me the same thing if it different then i no this is a scam.

i just received a phone message from Jason at 1-800-276-2423 ext 2534. Had a reference number and asking me to call back. glad we have this page here. i'm not calling them!

I just received a call from Jason at 1-800-276-2423 ext 2534, as well. He called my cell phone for my boyfriend who has no debts. It showed up on my cell as "withheld number". Jason claimed to be from Prince Parker & Associates. This sounds very fishy. There are no reasons why "Jason" would be calling him on MY phone.

never ever give bank account or credit card information to a debt collector.  They will empty your account and max out your credit cards.

Never ever verbally agree to anything - MAKE SURE you have the agreement in writing first.  Verbal agreements will be forgotten as soon as you hang up.  KEEP THAT PAPERWORK FOREVER!

Once the debt collector has validated the debt as required by law -and sent the payment agreement in writing send them money orders not checks!  

Remember that the collectors get paid a commission - so they will try and force you to do something you should not do -simply to pad their commission checks.

if the account was discharged in bankruptcy - they are breaking the law trying to collect it,.

You send them a certified mail - return receipt letter stating the account was discharged in bankruptcy and they are to cease all collection attempts.  

You would contact the attorney that handled your bankruptcy -

It could also be a time-barred debt - based on your states Statute of limitations on debt,

Prince Parker is an actual debt collecting service.  AT&T does not call regarding late or unpaid bills from this number; if this is the number they call from it is definitely a collection service.

Please be more clear.  

What do you mean by "pay your bills"?  

Do you mean pay for services that we did not request?  

Did you mean pay for Monthly fees for big name companies like AT&T to ignore your cancellation requests - and then tell you (12 different reps) that your account *IS* cancelled - and find out later that they have NOT cancelled it - after 12 calls over 3 months? - And continued to Bill you during that time?

Or did you mean explaining all this over and over again (another 8 calls) to a Collection Agency who explicitly tells you that *research* is not their job?

The Collection Agency doesn't get paid if they research the problem.  They get paid if you give into harrassment.

Prince Parker has called me with 6-8 different reps - all of which - have *no* interest in whether we actually owe any money.

stop whinning and pay your debts it's a shame some one has to hire a collections agency to make you people pay your debts nothing is free nobody told these dead beats to get phones they can not pay for

He called because you owe a bill!! PPA is a COLLECTIONS COMPANY not a scam just pay your bills and they will stop calling!!!

alot of these people said they DO NOT owe - stop being a**holes
alot of these collectors are NOT following the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act - if they DID we wouldn't have sites like this complaining about them.

They are harassing my family in two different states. I have never even had an account with AT&T.
