Its been over 3 years since i had this healthcare and no one ever called til now, they are masking their real number and making it look like its a gov office

- Sentinel720This is a valid call from HealthCare.gov. It is an automated call from the HealthCare Marketplace to remind you about your application, deadline dates and more.
- Caller: HealthCare.gov
- Call type: Valid
- Scam Ferret| 1 replyIt appears that this MIGHT be the Health Insurance Market Place calling. I say "appears" because the caller ID shows Toll Free Call. The only calls that I have received that show that ID are scams. Hmmm, that might be true of the Marketplace as well but that's another story. Anyway I had explored insurance for my adult kids recently so the call might be legitimate. Daily emails, and now a phone call, since I did the exploring is getting annoying.
- Caller: Toll Free Call
- Call type: Unwanted
- B-Edwards replies to Scam FerretThat is the number to call the Health Ins Marketplace / Heathcare.gov. That number will show in your CID if you are called and left a message regarding enrollment. The safe thing is to call them, so you are not fooled by someone spoofing the number. If you have a LONNNG hold time, you can be pretty sure you are talking to the right people!
- Teri"Health Insurance" Scam to get your info. Spoofing the Healthcare.gov number.

- PageThe first time this number called me and left a message it was from a lady with Professional Recovery Services wanting all of this information to try and collect a medical debt. The problem was when I called the number back, they answered with Professional Recovery Services but they would not tell me who the debt was too or any valid date, just came up with an amount to pay. Then wanted all of my valid information. Nope. I ain't doin it. The second time they called, today, it was a voice recording telling me that I haven't finished signing up for healthcare.gov and all that jazz. Okay, for one I haven't been on the website in 3 years so I know this is bogus. Reading all the comments they don't call you and solicit you. So now we have scammers really trying to do what they can in order to get some money. What we need is something to hit social media repeatedly about what to recognize when we get these calls because there are so many people that have fallen for it. These guys sound so real and so legitimate. We as Americans are getting a little sick and tired of being taken advantage of and most of us cannot afford what these guys are trying to take. So sick of it.
- Caller: Two different companies using the number

- KimThey have called my number more than once.. and they call on Sunday.. today I rejected the call and they called rite back within seconds.. left no message..
- Call type: Unwanted
- Wendy replies to KevinWell since I have insurance and I didn’t call them first, it is still an unwanted call!
- Jon K.Received *7* calls from this number over 4 days. None left a recording. I called back from an office phone (lol) and it is an independent agency following up on people who even visited the hc.org website. Disgusting! I have not used the "marketplace" nor do I plan to or need to, as I am insured through my employers, and during the call I made, the heavily Indian accented woman did indeed ask me for my social security number. I told her my social sercurity number is hang it in your [***] and then I hung up.
- Caller: Healthcare Marketplace

- Ginger JoThis is the number to Healthcare.gov but when I answered it was a rep named Monica who sounded like poor white trash and tried to get my personal info and sell me shady health insurance. Told her to stop her criminal ways or she'll end up in prison soon.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BethCalled but left no message. I find it difficult to believe that if these people were really a part of healthcare.gov that they would not leave a message regarding the call. I will block the number.
- Alyssa| 2 repliesReceived a bill in mail from Ambetter Healthnet that insurance had not been paid and coverage had ended. Bottom of letter stated "If you have made a payment and you think this information is incorrect call us today at 1-800-318-2596." Called the number. I knew something was def wrong with this letter. Immediately was asked first and last name, date of birth and address. I asked the person dont you need my subscriber number, she paused and continued asking personal information. I immediatley hung up. BAD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Do not call the number as the letter from Ambetter Health Net is fake and so is the number. They will always ask for your subscriber number 1st then verify your information.
- Caller: Ambetter/Healthnet

- B-Edwards replies to AlyssaThe number you see on your caller ID is spoofed. That is the phone number to Healthcare.gov and the Health Insurance Marketplace. Criminals are trying to trick you into thinking you are getting a call from a bonafied source.
Ambetter sounds like they are running a phishing scam and are out to steal your identity. It is good you were suspicious. - post pending moderator approval
