Just got a call from this number.  They didn't leave a message on our answering machine.  I don't know who it was that actually called.  I don't pick up calls I don't recognize.

I just got a call from them and I am not on the gov web site.  I have my insurance taken care of.  I just think it's another scam by these people to get your information to steal.  I might be getting old but not stupid yet.

I received many telephone calls from this number, and finally called them back. Before I did cal, I checked the number which is listed to a Health Insurance Marketplace , Address is 7500 Security Blvd. Windsor Mill MD.When I ask for their names, and address the female stated she could not give out that information, So I told the [***] I had more insurance that she would ever believe , and it costs me nothing. I am military retired, and a 100 % disabled veteran. I let her know where she was, and would be filling charges. They are nothing more than peddlers, and phony solicitors. I guess they don't want visitors, but they soon will be getting some.

I keep receiving automated calls from this number reminding me of the deadline for health insurance of february 15, 2015.

it is automated, but they give you no option to be removed from this list.  

when i called the number back, the representative asked for my social security number, address, city state,  i finally hung up on the idiot.  They are calling my number & I do not want phone calls from them & never requested any calls from them.  i am already on the 'do not call list'.  when i asked why i am not being asked for my phone number she said they have to confirm i am the one i say i am.

so, is this a government thing that i am being harrassed about? or is it the insurance company's that are harrassing me.  Someone needs to be responsible.

This number called my cell, they left no message on my voicemail. And I refuse to call the number back. I had started to apply for insurance through the Marketplace, via on-line, but their premiums are outrageous. All they want to know is your yearly income, no expenses taken into account. Can't afford it. I'm blocking this number,before I get dozens of calls from them

I just received a call from 1-800-318-2596.  I looked up the number when I heard my phone ringing and once I realized it was the number of the Health Insurance Marketplace, I realized that someone was probably calling from another number and using the government number to try to scam people.  

This call is actually legitimate, it originates from the Healthcare Marketplace provided by the US Government in response to the Obamacare nationwide health care plans and the call is purely informational in nature, you don't have to do anything but listen as it simply provides some instructions.

With nags like these people working for them there is no way I am going to be nagged into a over rated over priced plan with bad coverage.  Blocked my phone but they leave messages, why does the AMERICAN government hire a foreign group to do AMERICAN government jobs.

Calls from this number *may* be legitimate (they may also be spoofed). The real number belongs to HealthCare.gov

What I don't understand is why they're making calls to DNC listed numbers with a recorded message. While they might try to argue that the calls aren't sales calls, I'm pretty sure urging me to login and enroll in an insurance plan is in violation of the FTC Sales Rule.

Anyone see a *BIG* class action case down the line?

I have gotten three calls from this number but have not answered them, no message has been left any of the times.  From what I can tell, the number is real (related to healthcare.com) but not a number healthcare.gov claims to call you from (their call out numbers are different than their call in number, this is listed as their call-in number).

The website states that if they call you, the caller will provide their name and worker id number.
I have private health insurance, so I have no idea why I would be getting this call (except maybe someone typed their phone number in wrong?).  It doesn't seem to be legitimate, however.

Duh...THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS THE ABILITY TO USE TELMARKETERS TO SELL OBAMACARE...

These morons who are calling on behalf of the federal government have got to stop.. try using NQBLOCKERS app..its totally free forthe basic services of blocking unwanted calls and texts.

I am getting a pre-recorded phone call from this number daily on my cell phone.  I and everyone in my household have insurance!  My cell phone is on the registered DO NOT CALL registry.

These people just called and left me a voice mail and said I have an unfinished application for medical insurance.  That's crazy!!  I think I would remember that.  I wouldn't take this call if I was you.....
