- Mike| 3 repliesOK, so if it IS ATT that just called me twice and left me a voice message about making sure I am having no trouble with my text messages...tell me why I got the call on my TracFone?
- IrisGot scam call saying survey and would get $30 on bill. Then they asked for last four ss number to verify..Don't give it out..

- Call type: Survey
- Ky| 1 replyI got a call from this number and the guy with an Indian accent also identified himself as AT&T doing a survey. The next morning my phone said no service and AT&T could not figure out why. This morning I checked my account online and they had hijacked my phone # & made calls to Cuba & other countries. AT&T says that the caller can ID themselves with a fake 800 number. Fortunately AT&T suspended my phone by the time I checked online this a.m. My phone history shows 2 facebook names & a photo under that call which I reported it to AT&T's fraud dept.
- Bill| 1 replyGot a call from this number this morning. Didn't answer, as I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. Will watch my mobile phone bill from now on.
- Caller: Didn't answer
- JamesLee replies to Paul DobbersteinNO! Not the ATTORNEY GENERAL!! OH OH! I'm sure he'll get right on this!
- LaurieWe also got a call from this #. on Tuesday. They said something about upgrading towers and that we would be without service. We have Verizon phones. Within 2 hours we received a call on one of our other phones saying that there was a fraud alert on our acct. Called and talked to the Verizon customer service and fraud team and found out that our MY Verizon acct had been hacked. The hackers had gotten to 2 of our phones. Calls were placed to Cuba.
- VATX800-331-0500. Message was from Tania Blackwell responding to my survey regarding a call I placed to AT&T wireless.
- Caller: AT&T
- Call type: Survey
- ScammedI got the same call today from someone indicating Verizon would be updating their towers, and they would be down for approximately 24 hours to "improve signal strength in our area." Stupidly, I gave them my last four digits of my SS# which I shouldn't have done. I logged in to my account when I got home to find they changed my Galaxy III phone to a BB Curve. I contacted Verizon and documented what had happened. Since my phone wasn't working, they reset it. Advised from Verizon to set up a new billing password as protection, and also to contact their Fraud Dept to ensure they are aware of the scam. Fortunately it appears that there wasn't any excessive charges to my account in that short amount of time.
- AdlinDon't answer that number. They will hijack your phone once they have the info they are asking for. It happened to me and we got it early enough. Your phone wont have service then they will get a new sim card and activate by calling ATT using your info and place international calls. Look out.
- Caller: ATT
- Call type: Survey

- Adrian RThey claim to be AT&T conducting a survey, we called AT&T after and they said it's a scam. Luckily we did not give out any information.
- jayneIt was AT&T calling about the scathing text survey results I did. They left messages.
- Caller: AT&T
- Call type: Survey
- RebeccaI have Boost/Sprint. There is no reason AT&T should have my phone number.
- AliceCalled with a recorded message in Spanish.

- Lynn Cee replies to StarI got a call from this number. It was a scam call. Not really from AT&T although they claim to be. Google "AT&T survey phone scam" to find out what it is. Needless to say, do not give out any personal information.
There may also be other scams using the same number. As I understand it, scammers will use legitimate numbers as part of the scam. - JakeF| 2 repliesGot a call from this number today. The pleasant woman stated that a customer of theirs claimed my number wasn't working and wanted to check for their customer.
I googled this number and it comes up under the wireless.att.com website. (from the ATT website: " If an approved Corporate Responsibility User wants to request an immediate change to a feature or rate plan, they may contact the following Business End User Care line:")
Seems that the call I receive may have been legit. They didn't try and sell me anything, but I'll monitor to see if the same # calls us back.
- Caller: UNAVAILABLE
- Call type: Telemarketer
- FRAUD!!! replies to StarSomeone spoofs calling from att's 18003310500 number or verizons 1800 numbers... (Look up call spoofing)
They say its a survey and its to give a credit or something to get the info they need to try and login to your account. Then they upgrade your line and get a new phone sent to them and you just see charges on your bill the next months. Att or any other carrier will never call you.
Just fyi.
