- hydro| 9 repliesJust call back
- NanI called them back seeing they have called about 6 times & leave no message it is HSBC Financial. They refuse to leave a message so I do not know why they are calling us. I now refuse to pick up the phone because when you do NO ONE SPEAKS! GHOSTS I Guess. These people are Idiots.
- boxd| 1 replysometimes a hello??! as a message but never tell why they call. stupid
- chuchu33| 3 repliesThis number has called me no less than a dozen times in the last two days. They always leave voicemails, whether it's hanging up immediately after the beep, or sometimes leaving the phone off the hook so I can hear background chitchat for a minute before hanging up. It's exceedingly annoying.
- Sab replies to hydro| 6 repliesThey call me about 2 times a day for the next 3 weeks... on MY CELL PHONE!!! And my number is supose to be private! And I dont have any HSBC card! It's very disturb me because they call anytime of the day!
- Debra| 1 replysame thing they call me approx 5-10 times a day and don't answer I think they have automated dialing and then when you pick up it takes them a few to get on the line with you. It's a way to make mass calls all at once.So if you have any financing through HSBC for anything and you miss one payment they are going to hunt you down like a pack of wolves with mass phonecalls. Its a collections stradegy. I guess I have to pay my bill!!!!!!!!!!lol
- Call type: Debt collector
- Smumdax| 3 repliesThis is the collecting departement for HSBC credit... Just pay your bill, and they won't call you. If you are late in your paiement, they will call. Simple as that... Those who say "I don't have a card with them", you might be wrong... Your card doesn't have to be called HSBC... Mine is from Future Shop, and they go with HSBC. I think Zeller's is also with them.
- Jim replies to Smumdax| 1 replyGlad to find out who this is. Strangely, I CALLED THEM last week, because I had not received a statement for three months. Somehow, they had my address wrong. I straightened it out, got my account number (which I did not have because they did not send it to me and the store's printer wasn't working and couldn't print it out), and paid my bill. In full. The total amount that the agent I spoke to gave me.
Today, they called me three times. I'm i a different city, and I get charged roaming. I answer, and there is nobody on the line. I'm going to send THEM the bill. What are the chances they pay? - hotchickthey call me 20 times a day. it s rbc or hsbc

- SIMZ| 1 replyWOW - Really?
I've received a number of calls from this phone #, 4 times on December 8 alone. I've been out of the country to which my wife advised HSBC, yet the very next day Dec 9 @ 0845hrs they called again. Can you believe it? What does it take?
Thankfully in Canada the CRTC has rules for telemarketers to abide by. For example Telemarketers are not to call before 9 AM and can lose their license as a result of not following CRTC protocols.
I'm pleased how in Canada we have the Do not Call Registry list where we can file complaints to the CRTC of companies like these. Here's the website:
www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca
I gently suggest to copy paste this into your browser, reading the rules, tips, & tricks.... its nice to have an avenue of holding these Telemarketing firms accountable for their blatant harassment!!
Cheers,

- CGron| 1 replyThey called me today, about 16 times so far. And that started at 8:09AM. I was out all day and have come home to find they called about every 5-10 mins.
- lizThis is not a marketing business its a financial. I thought it was the same thing to b/c every time they called they would not leave messages. Sometimes the messages would be people talking in the background and stuff. Then I found out it was HSBC collections since I did not pay my BestBuy Bill on time, so you don't necessarily have to have an HSBC card but maybe something else. After I made my payment no more calls. Also they call to remind you to pay your bill if you have not paid on time before, so they are annoying.
