- JoannaI was late in paying my bill for October, when instead of paying on the 11th, I paid on 16th. It was not my fault, my wages were delayed but the money got to them eventually and problem solved. Or is it? Well after this past fortnight, it bloody well isn't.
I was only late on my October bill. I have since been on time, yet they are calling - to demand OCTOBER'S payment! It's insane. I keep telling them that I've already paid October's bill and have been on time since, but they just keep on calling. They call all hours of the day, but the only time someone speaks is during the day. The calls that arrive at night are without anyone on the other end.
I've repeatedly asked for my name to be removed from the calling list and each time, someone has said they would. But obviously they are were all brought up to tell lies, because they still keep calling me. I've even threatened to file a lawsuit, but some rude ignorant little man shouted at me to pay my bills and hung up. It's outrageous. Surely the cretins at HSBC can get on to these punks and inform them that I HAVE PAID THE BILL FOR OCTOBER!!!!
If it carries on I will file a lawsuit but one things for sure, I wont be doing business with HSBC for much longer. - Brenda021they are calling steady very aggravating

- MegThey have called me every single day approx 5-10times a day for about 2 weeks now, when I pick up there is no one on the other end.
- kyle replies to hydrotheyve been calling me a ton lately too, weird thing is that I don't owe them any money, lol
- annoyedthey have called now 6 times for my husband, when asked how he can reach them, all they say is they will call back, when asked who they are, no response...how on earth are they going to get results if they don't identify who they are?
- KimberleyI never gave them my cell number, therefore I never answered it. At least I know who it was from! They did not leave a message and never called back.
- tmgI had similar experiences with this number calling my cell phone several times a day. Initially when I tried to answer, I would jsut hear an automated voice or sounds like I was put on hold. It became very frustrating, so I tried calling back and they apparently had my number registered to a completely different person. They apologized and assured me that the annoying phone calls would stop.

- Everyday! For the past several weeks we have been receiving these annoying calls from this particular number. These people call at ALL hours of the day, several times a day! It is becoming extremely frustrating as my husband and I work late at night (janitorial services) and wake up early every morning just to answer the phone and have no one respond on the other end! If people are going to invade my home via telephone at least have the gutts to speak on the other end! I will be reporting this number to Telus as "harrassment" and putting a stop to it.
- Everyday! replies to janeYou have our FULL support on this matter. Your comment encouraged me to take action myself. I want to thank-you for that. It truly is NUTS! Perhaps if more people complained or took a stand against companies that practice this type of harrassment stategy (Sears is really bad too!), sites like this one would not be necessary. All the best with your painting. Sincerely, Terri.

- anonymouswhy do they call and not leave a message? at least if they left a message then you would know who they are and what they want - and could they deal appropriately... seeing the number on the display does not inspire us to return the call....just the opposite

- WarnerHSBC Financial manages The Brick (a furniture store) customer incentive program. This incentive program has certainly impacted me, I take my business to Leons (a competitor) now. They have been calling my home 3 to 6 times per day for weeks now, and in the 100+ calls i've recieved only once did an agent pick up. In all other cases the call disconnects shortly after I pick up. In the one case an agent did pick up she insisted I jump through a series of hoops just to make the harassment stop. I lost my temper and called the agent a s#!t-eating parasite, granted, the hangup calls had been going on for 2 weeks at that point, i was a tad irritated.
I began by emailing a polite complaint to both organizations with and received no reply. Changing strategies, I've been emailing The Brick and HSBC Financial with every call where no one on their end picks up to try to cause a little irritation back.
I urge you... Look them up on google daily and click the sponsored link (they pay $5 to $10 per click!)
Call the TFN 1-800-361-5783 and put the phone down... It will get stuck in a seemingly infinite language selection loop... Help me jam their call center AND crank their long distance bill to the frigging MOON. I've been calling daily from a disused payphone near my office on the way to work every morning and leaving it off-hook.
HSBC Financial needs [***] CANCER NOW!- Caller: HSBC Financial

- blahthat number is hsbc financial. they will start calling your number once you account goes past due. they send the statements on time and they are already giving you weeks for you to make a payment. to be safe, you must pay your bills in advance! take note, it takes a maximum of 3 days for store payments, 5 business days for online and telebanking, 7 to 10 days through mailed cheque and money order, and 7 to 10 banking days for bank teller transactions. you have to allow some time for your payment to post on the account and be received by HSBC. so it isn't advisable to make a payment exactly on the due date. once you're account cycles again and another amount has been generated on the account, they will send another statement and start calling your number. They just want to remind you of the payment because they don't want your account hit 30 days past due and might be reported to the credit bureau. you don't want that to happen, right?
also, regardless of any disputes or misapplied payments, you still have to pay for the amount that is owing while HSBC is waiting for the changes to be processed in the system. please be reminded that normally it takes around 1 to 2 billing cycles before everything would be cleared out. it's a long process and you have to deal with it. just make the payment and they will waive the interest charges for you. so it's just like an advanced payment and you won't regret it because it would maintain your good credit standing.
give them a solid payment arrangement. just give the exact details... amount that you're going to pay (at least the minimum amount due), exact date and time (if you're going in the afternoon they might give even date the payment on the next business day) and how you will make this payment. make sure to keep this arrangement and you'll be in peace. - xxx| 3 replieshsbc is not violating any law you stupid people. even if you try to sue them, i'm telling you, you will never win.
if you're not the card member... don't expect them to tell you any information! why do you wanna know anyway? it's none of your business! you're not the right person they want to speak with so don't bother asking cause they won't give it out. if you're gonna fake it, it can be a case of identity theft so beware.
if you're not getting any statement... they always send it on a certain day of the month depending on your billing cycle date. if you don't get it, better call hsbc customer service and update your address or check with your local post office cause they ALWAYS send it on time... weeks before your due date.
in regards to defective merchandise and promo correction, you have to fix it at the store. they are the one to blame not hsbc cause they only finance whatever you purchase. and take note, it takes 30-60 days for changes to be seen on the system of hsbc... it's a long process.. so for the meantime, you still have to make a payment for at least the minimum to bring your account current. same with insurance disputes. but with that, you have to call the insurance company to cancel it and you still have to pay until it has been taken out of the account completely.
don't purchase anything in the first place if you can't make a payment and comply to the terms and conditions. i bet you effin people were too excited to own the item and didn't even read the agreement that's why you are being called 8 times a day! if you're getting such phone calls every day that means you're account is past due! even if you've made the payment already but they haven't received it yet, the account would still be considered as delinquent not until the payment has posted on the account.
you are completely responsible on your account and if you can't keep up with that, i'm sorry but i must say, in the end you would realize that you're just doing this to yourself.
