They call the number you have listed with them, so if u gave them your cell number they'll call it, it's HSBC Credit, they handle a lot of store credit cards, if you are getting called, then pay your bill, it's obviously late, all you people that can't understand why they call you so much is because u are not paying your bill on time, pay it on time every month and you'll stop getting calls, it's not rocket science here people so all of you that are pretending not to know why, you do now, so shut it and pay and you'll stop getting calls lol lol

    How about I call you?
Yeah, HSBC is the worst.  I had them when I bought my bowflex.  I missed one payment by like 3 days, and they called me at home and work about 50 times per day.

My wife and I were in Florida for 2 weeks and couldn't get over the Caller ID when we got back.

When they finally called again, I told them right off, cancelled my account and then submitted articles to all major newspapers within the GTA.

It happens to the best of us - but banks like HSBC make you feel like a criminal when you are late.  Remember, one thing....We are the customer, and we are giving them OUR business.

Best advice is to use another credit card or line of credit to get out of your debt with them and close your account.

    Very ignorant and vial people.

They call our business # asking for a former employee that has not worked here for over a year.  We keep telling them that and yet...they keep calling back multiple times every day this week...very annoying and an interruption to our business.

If you are in Canada, you can report them to the CRTC - especially seeing how your business hasn't had prior dealing with them.

It's worth the time to call them back and ask them why they are calling.
I have a personal credit margin with HSBC and have asked them to stop calling every 2 hours as their payment passes automatically every month. They presented their apologies and removed my number from the calling list.
I agree that this is bad business manners.  If it bothers you make them stop!

HSBC cardholder replies to Stating the obvious
I have an HSBC card as it was my first and only option for a student mastercard at the time. HSBC calls obsessively about next to nothing. "We have a new deal on this or that thing that you likely don't give a rat's hairy [***] about...Would you like it so I can make my meaningless job seem worthwhile? We understand that you aren't interested, but here are a number of benefits which don't change a thing, and if you're still not interested, I'm going to go ahead and sign you up for a trial offer for one month. If you decide to continue with this service, it will automatically be billed to you for subsequent months, if not, call us back and we will be happy to offer you something more expensive and worthless." *stupid crap-lousy smile you can actually SEE through the phone* "Thank you for the business you had no choice but to give us, and try to have a good day while you worry about what we're doing to your account without your knowledge."

The above conversation is based on an actual call i have received and interpreted to exactly what they're intent is.

Easiest solution is Call Screen. Filter their number out and no more harassment. They were on me about my ex-wife's Zeller's tab from 10 years ago - to which I politely told them they could go stuff themselves.
