These people must be getting desparate to scam me, since they called today with this number: 800-375-5283,  displayed as CID four times in about 4.5 hours! No VM message left, however.

I hope some federal agency is looking into finding and punishing these low lives. But, I am not holding my breath either.

So, if I feel like it, I will answer their call if they continue to call, and waste their time.

Got a call today from this number and I'd said US Government and kept calling me by someone elese name. Told them wrong number then started getting rude saying we just talked to me on the 19 the of this month. I just hung up.

I got call from 800-375-5283 saying they are calling from US Immigration department. Requesting same BS as immigration issue.
I am wondering about to catch them. In today's most technical advancement they can crack and use the legitimate phone numbers, but how come they are still keep on calling over and over again,.

I just received a call from this number... the caller id said US GOVERNMENT so I picked it up... the accent of the person made me alert... they have changed their story... they are saying that my identity has been stolen and that I need to go to the immigration office in oakland to get refingerprinted and get a new SSN... ya right! Then he is asking where I work and what time etc. and when I confronted him that he does not need to know all this information, he is like just give me your cell phone number so we can contact you. When I refused to do so, he hung up.

got a call again (already called me 5-6 times before) from this number 800-375-5283 with thick Indian accents. it's scam and fraud. These people are using internet phones and Voice-over-IP calling to mask their real number and instead replace it with real USCIS number 800-375-5283 to make it look like USCIS is calling. Don't fall for this trick. It's not USCIS calling. USCIS HAS NEVER AND WILL NEVER CALL PEOPLE TO ASK FOR THEM THEIR PERSONAL INFO OR TO THREATEN THEM WITH ARREST OR TO PAY FINES OVER THE PHONE.

They are scaring innocent hard-working people into paying money via money transfer companies. File complaints to FBI and FCC about this. I confronted them right away saying I am not paying anything, and they got annoyed and hung up on me with threats....Don't fall for these stupid tricks...
They will use any tricks to scare you:
1. you haven't paid taxes so FBI will arrest you today if you don't pay right away.
2. you didn't update your details with USCIS so you will arrested by FBI today if you don't pay
3. you have credit card debt or medical debt, so FBI will arrest you if you don't pay...

Don't fall for these scams and frauds...

I got a call from the number that they are going to issue the arrest warrant and we are from 911.......

They call and speaks the abusive language. I don't know what to do with this scammers. I get calls from them several times a day.

Pretending to be calling from USCIS.  I hung up immediately.

i got a call from the above number asking for 5200$ as they said I have violated some law, if i dont pay the money they will depot me back to my country

Got a call from this number today that I have not updated my alien numberin uscis. I said I did everything by my lawyer. They said that cops will come to my house in 15 mins. I said I did everything through my lawyer again and they hung up. Don't pick up the call

Received calls from this number but I didn't answer. Assumed it was telemarketers but glad I Googled number and saw all of these logged complaints that it's a scam.

I wound up paying. $1500 by money gram, to lady named maheshwari. and the group.
Lady used gujarati language  and I got scammed.
I should have said that I do not have funds. Please note this, The scam is caught in Bombay, Ahmedabad.
Let me know if you know the names of people arrested. I have reported all this to Police, Have You?

Do not answer any calls until you see known name. Tell your family kids also about not answering.

Claudia called form this number in Spanish saying that to send money right away   that if I didn't send the money I was going to be deported. it was really important  to send money today I told her that I can only send $400 and that's what I sent. they told me it was OK and to get more money by Monday so they're calling me on Monday again and I'm not going to answer the phone this time. I couldn't send no more and then I called one of my friends that she told me it was a scam and so I'm not going to send no more money so please do not send money. don't be another victim.
