My husband also received call from the number 1-800-375-5283 today. said my husband missed to mention Alien number on I-94 while coming back from India and my husband is ignoring USCIS calls from long time. my husband said he isn't alien anymore and is US citizen now. The guy said, 'you think you can do anything as you are citizen!' and hung up ! LOL bunch of stupids

I've a got a call from the number 1-800-375-5283, he saying that is police officer from immigration officer, as soon as I heard that I simply hung-up did not call back

On March 18th I have received a call from 800  375 5283 and he mentioned that I have missed showing my Alien number showing to the police officer when I first came to US. He asked me to pay money thru western union around 4,200$ and foolishly I have ended up paying 1500$ thru the western union. I was completely scared and he was threatening me on phone and if I am going to delay this process sergants will be at my home with deportation letter and he was on call with me from morning till the evening. I was completely trapped..:(  and later in the evening filed a police case.

I received a call from the number 800-375-5283 & the guy asked me if I was the person he named & also told me my wife's name & my address. He told me he was an officer from the immigration dept. & stated that I have committed a crime & that I am a fraud & that I am in big trouble. He asked me if I spoke English & whether or not I understood English. He said he would provide me with a person who will speak in other languages. I told him I am good with my English & that I don't understand what he is saying & I instead told him his English does not make sense & so I can't answer him much unless he speaks better English. He said he was US citizen & born in US. I asked him how old he was & he said he was 35 & I told him he was a baby & not to mess with old folks like me. He threatened that he was serious & that I will go to jail. I told him to speak English since I didn't know what he was saying & I yelled at him & said good bye & hung up on him.

i received call from this number regarding i-94 form and alien#
the person on the phone had typical armenian or middle easten accent  and did not know what he was talking about.
when i responded by telling him that home land security do not call person individually he triedto threaten me

Today in morning i got a call frm irs sayin dat i gotta pay then $2965..but i told then i dunt have a amounts u told me.. The stranger told me how much u got ryte know u can pay..i told the stranger guy i only got $1000..and he told me is fine u pay $1000 now and rest amount later.. Then the guy gave me the address to send the money frm money gram.. Later i though irs will neve say u to send money frm money gram.. First i was worried later my cab driver told me is a scam nd fraud nd identify thief...

My elderly  parents got a call from this number. It just so happened that my mom put in her application for renewal of her passport a week ago. They claimed they were the passport renewal support office and that some one else had intercepted their passport and that my mom would need to pay $500 for s new passport since ssn # and passport numbers are in wrong hands.

My mom thought this was puzzling and then a lady speaking Gujerati started talking to her stating people from other countries are using my mom's name and sending money on behalf of my parents.

My mom fell for the scam paid $500 through a money gram. Said for ger to come to an appt the next day where more ?'s will be asked. She did not go .

She called the U.S. passport office and they said her passport is being processed and will be mailed to her in 3-4 weeks

These scammers are misrepresenting the actual agency that takes care of INS issues .

got a call form this number and the other person demanding my date of birth would not want to sya why hence put the phone down.

I have received calls from this 1-800-375-5283 number in morning. The caller identified himself as Justin Hammer from USCIS - Department of homeland security. He said there is a serious case filed against me for my Alien Registration Number was not filled and I 94 not updated, someone name by Curtus was using my identity in money laundering. He said I will be deported because my identity is used. He said I have to get Government certified Bonds of $2500.00  and will let me know where to send so they will give me a token number which I had to take to Social Security Office with copy of my Driving License, Naturalization Certificate and current passport , He insisted that I give to him my mobile phone number which I refused so he got very upset and told me ask your Attorney to call us.

I go the call from 951-379-5083 saying they are calling from Citizenship and Immigration Department stating I did not update my I-94. I asked for their telephone # which is 1-800-375-5283 and caller's name is Jason Smith. With the last name they can figure out the language the we speak & understand well & then transfer to someone who can speak in  Hindi or Gujarati language. IT'S SCAM.
HOPE GOVERNMENT TAKE STRICT ACTION AGAINST THIS CALLERS /COMPANIES AND HELP INNOCENT PEOPLE FROM THIS KIND OF HARASSMENT.

Yes just received this phone call and when called back , this seems to be a genuine USICS # and with all the extensions and details, but this is a bogus call , donot entertain this and they also ask what language are you comfortable talking in , guys donot fall for this...

Today i received call from this number.They wanted to discuss legal immigration matters with me or i will get arrested, i told them to come over my house and lets discuss, I have loaded gun ready and cant wait  to try and he  hang up the phone.

I have received call from the same, starting I will be arrested and local police will come and get me. I told him I want officer at my home and get me arrested. I would like to meet the police officer first and discuss.

i got call from Homeland security - US immigration stating someone has been using my identity. She mentioned that I need to go to local INS office with some documents to prove that I am the right person with valid documents. Before I talk to him about other details, i got disconnected. Immigration or homeland security never calls on this kind of issues. I don't think they have time  to deal with such nonsense. I hung up and ignore the entire discussion. Don't give out any personal information.

I received call from 1-800-375-5283 and they said my PASSPORT & ID was stolen. I have to reopen immediate so send money via MoneyGram amount was 1,987.00 Also they connected with interpreter unbelievable.
I reported to our county police department.
