Just received call from 1800-375-5283, threatened me that a complain is being lodge in my home country and my stay in United States will be revoked. Further asking me to verify my details. I understood that this is a scam so I asked him to send me a legal notice and my lawyer will take care of it. the guy on the phone started arguing with me.... I asked him not to call again as I know this is scam and hung up the phone.

My husband just received a call from 800-375-5283, asking him to update our I-94 form as there is a warrant out for both of our arrest. The guy asked my husband to purchase bonds in the amount of $992. I took the phone and the guy started threatening me. I told him I knew it was a scam because I saw it on the news but he started to yell and kept saying that we did not update our citizen's information with the government. There will be two people on the line, one of them making threats and the other listening. When the call is dropped they will call back claiming that you hung up. Finally when he realize that he was getting no where with this call he started talking very loud to someone else and this is when I heard the other voice on the line saying that he will be at my house in 30 minutes to arrest us.

They called me and telling that to send money to westernunion number

I just recive call sat nov  29 2014 at 1:30 from this number 1800-375-5283. He was speaking Asia excent
Every one in my family is us citizen he was asking  money order for $1100
Very important these people are froud , Asian people  are target. Some time they call and act like IRS asking for money  now laitly INS.  These basterd. Are from call center out of usa country NEVER give out any info to theses people no social security or driving lic  I hope this post help

I'm getting so many calls with the name display as Immigration / Unknown / 911...
And they threaten to kill me and so on...And use bad words which we would never like to hear...
Now a day I'm fed up of answering these calls...If someone has got a way get rid of these stupid calls pls share with us...

I received a call from 800-375-5283 saying about they have received immigration compliant about me.
So i got suspescious and asked him questions where are you calling from and what is your address.
He gave me "441 Ridge Apartment". I new at that time that its scam. He mentioned his name was "Jack Martin"
Please be aware of this scammers.

I received 2 phone calls from 800-375-5283 today 12/18/2014. They appear to be prank calls
showing 800-375-5283  as caller ID.
1. First call was answered by my answering machine at 9:31 AM Eastern time, no message was left.
2. Second call arrived at 12:44PM Eastern time, I answered. A person with foreign accent asked
  for me by my last name and then said there is an immigration case against me by my home country
  embassy and he will transfer me to a senior agent for the details. The call was transferred to a
  second person with foreign accent who introduced himself as a senior legal ... with US citizenship
  and immigration and he proceeded to tell me that a deportation request was received from the
  embassy of my home country. I told him my home country is US , he hanged up the phone.

Beware! These folks have called us twice. In a few minutes of conversation you will see how the accent changes too! The real USCIS is Never supposed to call people directly.

I know anyone could enter any text show at his caller ID, such as UNITED STATES G or U.S.Embassy, ...etc.
But what puzzeles me is when the text plus  8003755282 show on my phone as caller ID and I pressed call back
number on my phone, it dialled the correct 8003755282 government agency. That is the reason I thought for a srcond
their call is not a scam.
But considering their stupid forein accent plus the irrational allegations it's definately a scam and basically I do not know
how and why when these [***] impersonate government officials are not arrested.

This number has called me 6 times today, already. I answered the first time. The caller ID
said United States G (govt)  Someone with a foreign accent said he was the Chief officer
at Immigration and asking for me.  I just hung up. He called 3 more times and did not leave messages. You
can just hear noise of background voices. Being born here over 6 decades ago, it is obvious that it
is the same type of call as the IRS fake call we received last month from an officer with a foreign accent.

Invest in a call blocker.  Looks like a scam directed at the immigrant community.

This one gone beyond the fake IRS calls, the number shown on caller ID from the fake IRS calls that I received, is not a legitimate IRS phone. If you press call back on the phone, you reach some private cell phone or other private scammers.
Pressing call back 8003755283 on received call form these scammers actually dials the  U.S.Immigration and citizenship services. Either the scammers found a way to tap into government phone lines or they use a more sophisticated scam.

Got call from this number . Person was rude. Seem to have registered this number to show "Immigration and Naturalization service". Someone should take serious note of it

I got a call from USCIS - a prank call asking for information.  Same rude behavior - DO NOT give out any personal information

Some person called and when I denied to accept this as genuine call he started saying bad words .
Also the website they give seem genuine which is more disturbing as it could be immigration site could be hacked and these guys are making calls

I received a call today supposedly from the USCIS (US immigration http://www.uscis.gov/about-us/contact-us).  They said there is a case about my immigration, they want to ask for me questions and asked for my SSN.  The voice sounded like an Indian male (i.e. from India).  The caller ID showed 800-375-5283 which is a legitimate US immigration phone number.  This sounds fraudulent and I found several articles about this issue saying to beware.

they want to know, what language I am proficient other than english.
Also they are telling i got a case booked on my name in US consulate from my home country.  they want to transfer my call to senior member who can explain, I told them " it's fraud call"  and hung up.
don't be scary.. any these type of thing, you get official mail communication, not through phone.

I got a call from USCIS real number (800) 375 5283 saying there was mistake in my 1st I 94 filling and i would be deported in 2 hours. They told me to disconnect all electronic devices and pay around 15,000 $ . I did not pay and cut the call. I am shocked to see its been happening for more than 1 year and still they are doing this. How come they are not yet punished?

Today around 10:45 am I also got the call from same 8003755283 # , and the guy said he is officer Gavin Hall , and I didn't update my I-94 thing,   And told me either set the case outside the court or face deportation , I said ok my husband will call back and talk to you , then he said no it's about you not ur husband, then I asked ok can you tell me my name and he couldn't tell my name and told wrong address and kept on threatening me , then I hung up  as it was clear it was a scam
