To everyone saying "this is legitimately scotiabank, just pay your bills people!" etc etc... I do not and have never assosiated with scotiabank so if they're so legit then why are they calling me... I answered because i was confused and there was like 10 seconds of silence and then they hung up.
    Yep, so legit!!

I have never had a loan with Scotiabank and they sent a letter to my childhood address saying I owed money?  Not sure how I owe money when I haven’t taken out a loan.... 100% scam!

My call display identified Scotia Bank was calling.  Guy asked for me specifically and said his name was Kevin and kept asking if he was talking to me.  I identified myself and asked why he was calling.  Said it was re Visa amount.  I asked him who he was really and where he was calling from--said Ottawa HQ.  I cussed him out, told him to quite calling and hung up.  I owe nothing on Visa...nada...pay my bills regularly.  Now I am calling my bank and giving them a heads up and then reporting this guy and this number to RCMP fraud--for all the good it will do.  I never usually answer such calls, but thought perhaps it was my bank calling me for some reason...I should have looked at the number and not relied on the call display name.  Do not answer this call--100% scam.

This doesn't sound professional, especially by "the National Collections Centre for Scotiabank".

I got a phone call and email, asking me to pay $10.00 (ten dollars) that is overdue buy one day.  (Did you mention the mortgage?)
By the way, my visa is Not ending as you stated...

    Best regards........

Scam call.  375 phone exchange does not exist.  Confirmed with scotiabank that it was not them calling.

I strongly suspect the comments stating that it is a collection number are posted by the scamers themselves.
