- SteveStarted getting hang-ups on my voicemail from this number and called back. Automatic system wanted card or ss numbers. After the 8th call from them I was able to persist and get a real person. I explained that the next call would result in criminal charges of telephone harassment and a huge lawsuit against shitibank and their phone supplier. I still haven't deleted any of the calls in case I need them for evidence. One more and I will gut them like catfish.
- Caller: Shitibank (citibank)
- Call type: Debt collector
- ArmandhawkSimple solution; If you don't recognize the caller ID #, do not answer. If, and I stress the IF, if they leave a voicemail, you get to decide how important the call is and whether to call back, or answer the next time you receive a call from that #. Most current smart phones (even most dumb phones), have a simple "block number" feature. If you can't figure it out, just go online and google your phone for the block number procedure. Done and done!
- Caller: Any unknown
- Alison K.Got 2 voice mails from this # pretending to be my bank. They wanted me to login to account.
I've been hacked so everything is screwy. Needless to say I called my bank and they never made calls. Hackers just wanted my account info. They just called me again today but I googled the number and this site came up. Be careful of scams. Already been scammed by Facebook and Google ask me to pay them cash to fix my security on all accounts.- Caller: Bank
- Call type: Prank
- GAppreciate the people who have posted here so that this turned up when I googled the phone number. Just got a call from them. Since I don't have any active Citi accounts it was immediately suspicious. When I told them I couldn't be sure if they were Citi, they suggested I call the number from Citi's website to be sure. They also gave me a number for their fraud department, 800-825-0393, no doubt hoping I would be lazy and just call the same scammers back instead of getting Citi's number myself. That number also showed being used for phishing when I googled it.
Called Citi on the number from Citi's website, and they confirmed there were no active accounts in my name.- Caller: 800-388-2200

Called Citi on the number from Citi's website, and they confirmed there were no active accounts in my name so they would not have been contacting me.- Caller: 800-825-0393

- ZarI've gotten several calls and voice mails from these people, wanting my personal information on behalf of Key Bank
- Caller: "Key Bank"

- HahnPLEASE REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM THIS CALLING LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- ALLISON HAHNSTOP CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER!!!!
- B katherin replies to SMNo it's a fake, i do not have Citi card and hold no debt with anyone yet this # calls me repeatedly.
- Jim replies to MichaelNot necessarily fake or a scam. Some of the other posts make it sound like the number is being used by some scammers but I got several calls from the number and it turned out that I had actually missed my credit card payment this month. Didn't give them any info over the phone, just told them I would look into it and schedule payment through their website. They were fine with it and didn't pressure me beyond a promise to make payment.
If you have provided your credit card company with a contact number then you have no reason to get annoyed or belligerent if they choose to use it. Common sense responses without an attitude will get the same in return if the caller is legit. - cinemaforteI have been receiving calls from this number at least once or twice a day. They never leave a message...
- Linds replies to MichaelKeeps calling.
- RD replies to LDWhat phone do you have? I would like to be able to hit "Block caller" on my phone, too.
- DanielleThis is legitimately the collections department for Citibank attempting to collect. If you have a Citibank card, or best buy card and have not made a payment this is why they are calling you. This is not a scam!

- Karen LeBrasseurGot the first call about 2 hours ago - I answered and no one was there. I just received second call and didn't answer - I will now block the call.

- Janny replies to rjm764You are absolutely right. They know about it and don't care. I get calls back to back on my home and cell phone daily. What else can be done?
- BarbI get over 10 calls a day-morning, day and night-weekends too. No message, but the calls are relentless, too early and too late in the day. I picked up multiple times and said "whoever you are, stop calling," but doesn't help.
- Lee KearsonDon't bother me
- Donald D replies to dws21208you are full of dung. this is a scam and I did my research
