Got a call from 1-800-391-9462 gema communicationns I answered but NO ONE WAS AT OTHER END???????
VERY ANNOYING !!!!

PC Financial should stop giving out numbers to other companies without consent!!! ... I dont even have a credit with them and i already told them i didnt want one.

i received a phone call from this no# (1-800-391-9462)everyday at the middle of work hours and i don't know why they keep on phoning me, and i don't know where they got my phone number. Lucky me everytime i saw this number i just ignore until i search on the enternet yhat this number is strange. Thanx for that and i really appreciated

I am also with Rogers wireless in Northern Ontario and I have recieved 2 calls in the last few days....this really sucks because they are calling between 8-9 pm. I work nights and use my cell as an alarm clock so they always wake me up :-(

They call me everyday, every time i pick up there is NO ONE on the other end this is very anoying. all i ask is that if they call someone be THERE so i can tell them to put me on the DO NOT CALL list.

These people are really annoying. They are up to calling me 2-3 times a day now. never anyone on their end. Sometimes they time out and leave an empty message on my service. Thanks for this site, I am going to report them tomorrow during businsss hours.

CALGARY- This phone number has called me every single day several times for atleast one month. Today I received calls at 7:47 pm, 7:09 pm, 5:06 pm, 2:05 pm. The line is silent when I have answered it in the past and now I refuse to answer. They are calling my cell phone and if you call 1-800-391-9462 from a land line you can opt out of receiving calls.

At this point I have complained to Telus, and attempted removing my phone number from their list. Tomorrow I am calling their head office in Toronto and filing a Police report. I will research who else I can report this company to in the following days. You cannot call someone four times a day every day from the same number. This is harassment.

Getting calls from this number several times a day. Very annoying. Will try out some of the tips posted in the forum. Thanks!

They have called me every day for over a month, anywhere from 1-3 times a day. I've answered the phone 4 times and it hung up on me three times and the other time I could just hear alot of people talking in the back ground. Last week however they did leave a message with heavy breathing saying... "I'm going to kill you, I'm going to fu**ing kill you...you're gonna die". I don't even know what they are attempting to sell me after a month but I do know they want me dead! Not the best business practice I've ever heard of.    Anybody else want to SUE this company?

they are continuously calling me on my voip line.  I setup a conditional forward for the 800 nummber to ring their 416 and 504 numbers.  anyone know the president's direct line?

It appears that if you call their number from your cell (or landline), you can now opt out of receiving their calls. I've done this. Hopefully it works, if it does not, I'll be back to let you know

Been receiving these calls for months now, I usually don't answer it, or I answer it and hang up right away. Today I answered thay asked for my wife under her maiden name. I asked if I could take a message, they said no and was there a better time to call. I asked what it was in relation to, and it turns out it was "PC Financial". I then proceeded to ask to be taking of the phone list, there was a quick goodbye shortly after.

Now I have to wait and see if they call again.

I have also had calls everyday from this phone number 1-800-391-9462.
I do not call them back. This is just plain harrassment, and I should know. I have had calls from Gemma before to my home phone number and now to my cel 5 years later which has nothing to do with my number now.

I have also gotten a call from 1-800-831-9706. I also had a call from a private number. I believe these numbers have also been used to take down my PDA,so that I would lose all the information I have typed into it. Fortunately I have it copied, so it is more of a nuisiance than anything.

The fact that I have so many 1-800 numbers calling me at one time, though one is enough, and understand the frustration, of everyone.

These calls are either coming directly from Rogers or from someone who wants to make them look bad. I cant figure it out, which one it is.

Yesterday I got a call from 1-416-738-6012. search this number on google and this came up. It says it was an Ad for MySpace mobile. I am not on MySpace, or any space. I do not use my mobile PDA for socializing or the internet for anything but weather, news, horoscopes
and reading. When I went to google yesterday, that is what came up. And then today it is gone and Royal Windows is coming up now.

I am not connected with this number in any way other than it called my phone to try and set me up for something I have not done. This number is a telus number.

They called today, I didn't answer the phone, they hung up.  No message left on the answering machine.

I get a call from them about once a week.

Do you ever get those annoying phone calls with no one on the other end?

This is a telemarketing technique where a machine makes phone calls and records the time of day when a person answers the phone.

This technique is used to determine the best time of day for a 'real' sales person to call back and get someone at home.

What you can do after answering, if you notice there is no one there, is to immediately start hitting your # button on the phone, 6 or 7 times, as quickly as possible This confuses the machine that dialed the call and it kicks your number out of their system. Gosh, what a shame not to have your name in their system any longer !!!
