- brotherwolfI got a call for the first time tonight and decided to research the number. My little one answered the phone as I was outside. When I came back in she told me 'the mastercard guy called'. Well, I don't have a mastercard. The number is for Gemma Communications in Toronto (I'm in Surrey, BC) I called it, but had to add the '1' at the beginning as it only showed up on my call alert as 800-391-9462. I got through right away to an automated service at Gemma. It guided me to removing my number from their 'promotion' lists. Hope it helps.

I asked them to remove me off the calling list, and they claim I'm off it... yet I'm still getting calls from these [***] at Gemma Communications.

- Suspicious by NatureHad this number call us today - PC Financial wanting to offer us a Mastercard. Starting asking for annual income amount, where we work, OUR SOCIAL INSURANCE #. Told them to NOT call us again and to put us on the "DO NOT CALL" list. Not sure if that will work but NO BANK or FINANCIAL INSTITUTION should be calling and asking for personal information like your SIN # over the phone! HANG UP!

- sweetcivicBeen having this number calling me every single day for the past 2 months. I didn't answer, but it could be someone calling from Fido. I am on their network.
It could be from the bank, but I had that dealt with before when they kept calling and finally somebody answered. I just told them to stop harassing me and they did. But this time the 1-800-391-9462 is something else.
Other numbers been "harassing" me (if not the number mentioned above): 1-800-831-9690 & 1-800-391-9421.
I'm asking the same question... how can we make them stop? Nobody is answering or responding on the other side! - Can't SleepThis numer calls 2-3 a week or 2 a day. I work nights and Hate being woking up!!!!!!!!!
- GagetmanPicked up the phone, no one on the other end. Read this blog, decided to send an e-mail. Asked them not to call me. Asked them not to piss me off.
Here is a possible solution. If I get another phone call from them, I will start sending them very large e-mails. As large and as often as their server will allow. If others will join me, maybe, just maybe, we can crash their sever. Since the calls come from it, they should stop, at least for a while. And if they start again, we can keep crashing them.
If that does not work, PLAN B.
But first we should try PLAN A. - anonymousreceived call 1-800-391-9462 9pm Winnipeg time.....as per previous email in this list, offering Mastercard Insurance coverage for Presidents Choice cards. Hung up!!
